  1. Yeah - you are right ( ofc !!) I was going by the Columbus roster for the time Motte was there where he was listed as a center, but I see from his 31 games in 17/18 he only took 14 draws. And the same the prior year in Chicago. - listed as a center but took just 10 faceoffs in 33 games
  2. Motte has played center his entire life until coming to Vancouver, when we put him on the wing MacEwen was a regular center for Utica last year until his call up to the big club
  3. I think I underestimated my team In the predictions thread I have a feeling Petey gets a Hattie tonight, plus 2 assists
  4. In all fairness, AV had 3 years head coaching experience with Montreal before we hired him for the Moose, then promoted him
  5. That was the whole point - Zukertorte made me think of Sachertorte (although my favorite when I lived in Switzerland was Kirschtorte)
  6. Couple of things. 1) Gaud isn't playing. But I agree, he would look good with Hogz on his line, and big Mac (who can take faceoffs - did in Utica) on the other wing And 2) Jake has never played well with Bo - his best chemistry is with Petey and JT
  7. With his wingspan and stick length, isn't the width of the whole rink "his own side"?
  8. 160 games qualifies for full pension under the NHL Players Pension Plan (US$ 50,000 per year after age 62) Earliest (with reduction) it can be taken is age 45.2
  9. Just a chuckle - last broadcast for me was NBC feed, and McGuire was commenting on the Nux poor start " Well, in all fairness they opened the season on the road with 4 games back East"
  10. And if we win tonight, then sweep the Sens, we'd be 6 - 4 after 10 and this angst will be just a distant memory
  11. Changes Green won't do, but that might work .... Loui slots into his spot on Bo's line, moving Hoagie to Gaud's, and putting the Rooster in the stands. Bo and Pearson with LE are a proven defensively responsible line that can score, and who wouldn't like to see Gaud, Hoagie and the Shotgun perform? Juolevi partners with Rafferty, with whom he had some chemistry last year in Utica. Myers with Hughes and Benn with Schmidt Don't know where Mac and/or Bailey fit, but both would be improvements on 7 or 8 of our 12 current forwards (heck, if Baertschi were in the taxi squad, I'd dress him)
  12. Torts was interviewed - said he lollygagged on a line change, so was stapled to the bench for lack of intensity
