Lol. I have this soccer buddy who plays in a senior league. He and his defense partner have this shtick when they allow a goal, they push and shove each other and have a mock fight as to who is to blame. One match, the ref red-carded both of them!!

Wasn't going by appearance of the actual player, more by first names - offering them up to GRRM to save him repeating old ones. For example, if Aidan McDonough were Aedan, he'd surely be a Targaryen. Jalen (Chatfield) sounds vaguely Targaryen too. And Justin (Bailey) sounds like a Tully - Justin Tully has a ring to it That was the intent of the post - if GRRM used these names, which houses would they be in. December saw the best monthly sales yet for Fire and Blood, which is the book that the HBO prequel is based on. And the books, still active 'cos Martin is still writing them, have a huge following in their own right I agree, the final season was botched. Dan and Dave couldn't wait to be finished to get out and into Star Wars, where they bombed too. Pity, cos all that character development over 7 years was just jettisoned for a quick, unsatisfying ending.
