I played against their star tailback in my Jr. year of HS, everytime he sees him on tv he always makes a point of saying that he had a 4 yard TFL against him . I still see the Dawgs losing at least 3 games if not more this year, including 1 to my trojans.

Decent game from the gunners. Start was awful and opsina did fantastic keeping us in it. Giroud is a dumb@$$, like calm the f down you hurt your team when you do $*** like that. The announcer made me laugh , he made a bigger deal about arsenal losing giroud then he did about PSG losing Verratti. Verratti runs PSG, he is what makes them tick. His influence from the midfield is perhaps only rivaled by Iniesta and Modric. He is that good. Edit: If Iwobi wants to stay in the lineup he has to finish those chances. I like him a lot, but in games against europe's best he HAS TO FINISH. -
I was at both Pospisil's and Milos' matches. Vasek's serve let him down big time. He should have won the first set he was the better player. It went downhill from there. As for Milos he was playing well till he got hurt. And yes he got hurt. Wrist and Calf. He couldn't move to his right. TBH I wanted him to walk over so that the american fans and harrison wouldn't have the satisfaction of a true victory.

THIS. Boy that Bama-SC game was f****** BRUTAL. What killed us at least early on was little mistakes. Against a well oiled machine in alabama you cannot afford to have these lapses in concentration on 3rd down. IDK what the punter was doing either, play to the god damn whistle and make a play for christ sakes. Disappointed that Juju didn't get more targets, I guess I will have to get used to Max spreading the ball opposed to cody forcing it to Juju. At the end of the day it is the best time to lose, regroup next week beat USU and get ready to smash stanford in the damn mouth the week after that Fight On Baby!

He hit .250 in the World Series with more K's than hits. For how much he is making he should be performing a hell of a lot better than that in the most important playoff series of his life. -

The difference between Jeter and A-Rod is that Jeter was a winner. He would do whatever it took to get the W for the Yankees. ARod as much as he wanted to win, was more me first opposed to Team first, and could never come through when it mattered most. I agree completely with the bottom bolded. Pete Rose is the second best hitter of all time (behind Ichiro). He was another player that gave everything he had on the diamond (The didnt call him Charlie Hustle for nothing). Yes he did somethings that he probably should not have done, but what he did on the field completely warrants a HOF spot. -
Never played with CC, but I did get to watch Rashaun practice everyday as a wide eyed 9th grader. The catches he made in practice were incredible, for the high school level at least. Everybody is making a big deal about Chase Claypool from Abbotsford, Simonise was more polished out of HS imo at least. Not the athlete that Claypool is, but has a better understanding of the route tree and has better hands. I think(hopes) he will stick with the bengals.

ha ha literally two, funny. Jeter is my guy though, I couldn't give damn about arod jokes. While we are on that topic however, Where do you guys think he will go down when we talk about the best of all time. It's too bad he took PED for that one season, because he truly was a generational talent and imo is among the best all round players of all time (when he was in his prime) -
Vancouver's own Rashaun Simonise made this first catch in the NFL this past week. Vancouver College churns out 2 NFL'ers in 2 years, hope he sticks would be great for football in canada, especially in the vancouver area if he can have a sustained NFL career Bengals Keith Wenning finds Rashaun Simonise for big gain - NFL.com

In order to pry sale away from the CWS it would require more than what the bluejays would want to give up. The guy is a perennial cy young contender and among the top 3 most dominating pitchers in the league. IMO as a neutral, the deal would have to be along the lines of Alford, Harris, Reid Foley, Vlad Jr, Pentecost for sale, if not more than that. TBH the most likely trade partner for the Sox is Texas. Gallo, Profar/Brinson, and Tate would get a deal done I think. As a Yankee Fan I am happy with the Chapman trade. Our Farm just got a helluva lot stronger. While I like Torres and love Mckinney as prospects I would have preferred Schwarber for Chapman straight up, as Scharwber at yankee stadium would be almost unfair. Underated component of the Chapman deal is getting back Adam Warren who we picked up for starlin Castro in the summer. We have fleeced Theo once again -

Christ Lazio is in deep S***. http://www.espnfc.us/blog/the-toe-poke/65/post/2914458/lazio-sell-just-11-season-tickets-on-first-day-of-sale-ahead-of-serie-a-campaign Lazio fans don't seem very excited for the 2016-17 season and their enthusiasm reached a new low with only a handful of season tickets sold on the opening day of sale -- according to La Gazzetta dello Sport. The Serie A club started selling season tickets on Monday, but the lines remained dead as they registered only 11 completed applications by the end of the day. Last year, a club record low of 12,800 season tickets were sold for Lazio's league fixtures at the 72,698 capacity Stadio Olimpico and, on the evidence of Monday, a new record is likely to be set this season. Several thousand Lazio fans took to the streets last week to protest against club president Claudio Lotito, after the bungled appointment of Marcelo Bielsaand things don't look like improving any time soon. -

i dont blame him. Lazio is a horribly run club, and lotito is a scam artist. They will only get worse after Candreva gets sold, and I hope they get relegated -
atta boy milos. He has shown so much grit and perseverance in this tournament.

Rooting for anybody but Portugal. I would never hear the end of it from my neighbors if they win! -
Honestly this match is a win-win. Fed is an awesome guy and probably the best of all time and deserves another wimbledon crown. On the flip Raonic in a major final would be awesome to and would help grow the game in Canada.

For a team that was missing 5 starters to take the world champions to penalties how can you not be happy and proud? While the result was obviously the opposite of what I wanted, this tournament restored my faith in Italian Football. I really feel for guys like Giaccherini, the guy would die for the shirt. He may not have the class and yes his touch may let him down sometimes(like it did today) I would take him on my team anyday. Its a shame he will not be on the WC team as he is a bulldog on the pitch. I hope that those that did not make the team or future members of the Azzurri, look at this team for inspiration as this is exactly how a national team should play. For each other, for the fans, for the shirt. No words needed -
Saw Independence Day: Resurgence. Despite all of the poor reviews it got, I actually enjoyed it. Now It won't win an academy award but if you have nothing to do on a gloomy day, its worth seeing. I wont spoil it, but the storyline is very similar to the first one. "We will not go quietly into the night!" President Whitemore

Never doubted it for a second. As much I as dislike Eder, he was fantastic today. Aside from Thiago Motta, there is not a single person who I was unhappy with today. It was a clinic. Bring on Germany. Never have they beaten us competitively, and that will not start on Saturday. I will be parking myself inside the Vancouver Alpine Club on Vic Drive on Saturday to watch the match. Also I came to ask a you guys a question. Over the course of Football History who are the top 5 footballing nations. In my opinion there are 4 nations above all else; Brazil, Italy, Germany, and Argentina. I was having a tough time picking a fifth team however. Spain didn't win a major tournament till Euro 2008, France only has 1 WC and 2 EC to their name, the Netherlands despite having some of the all time greats have only won 1 major tournament, England 1 WC and have never been to a European final. The country I have decided to go with is Uruguay. Before I get attacked look at the stats. 2 WC's 20 years apart, won at least 1 copa america in every decade since inception with the exception of the 70's and 00's. They are a stable of not only South American Football but world football, always a team you hate to play against. My top 5 1. Brazil 2. Italy 3. Germany I believe the top three are interchangeable arguments can be made for all three to hold the crown 4.Argentina 5.Uruguay I would love to hear you opinions and you top 5 footballing nations -

I was complaining as a fan of football. He was horrible. And I for one do not buy that bernardeschi fouled Murphy. Murphy is 6'3 200 pounds and he went down that easily? Hell Berna is 170 pounds soaking wet, il mio culo that is a foul, Murphy has thrity pounds on the guy! On top of it he got part of the ball. -

Both the pitch and the referee were an absolute disgrace today. How can you play a match at an International Competition on a surface like that? Not to mention the referee pulling out cards from is a$$, calling the weakest of fouls, slowing the game down. Where did they find this guy? A day of shame for UEFA. Well done to Ireland though, took advantage of italy's B team, the horrible conditions which played into their strategy, and where the benefactor of many suspect calls. I hope they beat france down physically because I hate the french. As for Italy's match up with Spain, I air on the confident side as I know that there is no team that is overpowered in this tournament. When playing, this is the best back line in the world
