    Although it would hurt our team I almost wish Baertschi would retire. Concussions are brutal and to be on your fifth one and hear Baer talk the way he is makes me nervous for him. Hoping him the best life he can live so lets pray he doesn't take any more stupid headshots.

      At the end of the day, it's his choice it make. If his doctor think's he'll be OK to play again, I don't have the credentials to argue with him.

      Makes me wonder if he'll be able to play anymore, if that side-swipe did that much damage. Hate to see a skilled player suffer injuries like this, before he even hits his peak. It would be nice to have Baertschi back, but the Canucks do have some depth to fill in. Baer's got to do what's right for him and his future.

      Salo laughs at the term “Iron Man”.:P

       

      The hockey gods must have a sense of humour as I think Salo was the only fully healthy D in the 2011 Finals (I don’t count Ballard :P).
