    Jake Virtanen can barely carry the puck to the net. He is currently a bottom 6 forward and is not anywhere close to the top 6. I really hope he pans out and I cheer for him every game. Meanwhile, Nylander and Ehlers both have two 60 point seasons under their belt. The Canucks would currently be a much better team with either of them on the roster.

    Colton Sissons signed a really odd contract this summer. 7 years at 2.86 million AAV. Not a very high cap hit but 7 years at that price doesn't make much sense. Especially for a 30 point guy.

    If Boeser continues playing like he has, he will get significantly more money in 3 years. Obviously he has to perform. But if he averages 30+ goals in the next 3 seasons he is gonna get paiiiiiiiiiid in 3 years. Look at Panarin for example. He won the Calder, signed a 2 year bridge, and then cashed in this year. Boeser is on track to do the same.
