If they could pin point the problem and lay out the plan on how to right the ship, then there is still hope. Otherwise, it is just still the "no-plan" plan, and crossing their fingers that the team will eventually become competitive.

Well aware of their PK capabilities, Hughes just decided to hand the win to the Avs. But I think that retaliation with breaking the stick, is not just a display of Hughes' frustration, but the frustration of the whole organization/fanbase.

It's not good to advocate for anyone to lose their jobs, but think it's fair to critique the GM, coach, and players' performance/results. If your job is to entertain people, and people are paying ticket to see it, but you're not putting on a good show, consumers have the right to voice their displease. People get criticisms and their feelings hurt at work all the time,so that is just something that comes with the jobs they have to learn to deal with. But I agree that fans should not target the GM, coach, players or even their families personally. That is not necessary.

The Canucks were pretty good in pk a couple of seasons ago, so I think Green knows how to run a good pk. It's probably the problem of personnel and execution.

I mean, the assistants' job is to assist the GM, so there is nothing wrong for Green to rely on them. A manager who does all the job by themselves is not a good manager. The important thing is that they need to coordinate and lead the team to achieve the target result, which so far, Green has not been able to achieve.
