    The good guys sneak into the playoffs but then lose in an exciting second round series. OEL is better than last year but not back to true form PODZ is exciting to watch but doesnt start racking up numbers till near the end of the season Petterson only misses 3-5 games Boeser is rock star No exciting big trades - couple minor ones.

    i will take Garlund over Granlund for essentially the same money Perhaps a little more risk but I think it will work out better in the long run.

    Been trying to not judge off season moves but I was really looking forward to seeing him rebound. Doesn't seem worth it to me unless we really utilize this extra cap space well.

    So does this make the Jets look bad for being swept after doing the sweeping or Edmonton worse for getting swept by a team who later got swept haha I love how this emphasises the Oilers loss (for me anyway) But I was also routing for the Jets

    with Canucks having never selected 1OA it just make sense for us to pick 1OA in the COVID draft where players couldn't be scouted as per the norm. I think COVID makes this draft more of a wild card than previous drafts and 1OA less of a sure thing so it would be canuck luck to get 1OA this year...right? right?

    Everyone talks about defensive structure - which I agree needs drastic improve and new defensive coach should bring improvements in my opinion BUT Coming into this game the Canucks were 24th in goals for per game. Our power play and penalty kill is below average. I feel like this team has potential. Sure schedule and covid played a big role - so I say no need to drastic changes to the roster (improvement needed for sure but out core is shaping up). I think give it another year with some fresh coaches (assistant at least) and a regular schedule and then let's see how they do.
