    I wonder if the Canucks don’t want to showcase players like Lind and Gadjovich to the Kraken scouts. They’re probably less likely to be taken in the expansion draft if they’ve never been playing against NHL competition.

    Sign Tryamkin and Jamie Oleksiak who is a UFA this summer. We’d have three 6’7 defenceman to play with our undersized Hughes and Rathbone.

    Squire Barnes just said on Global News that Pettersson has had a setback in his injury recovery. He now doubts that we’ll see him again this season.

    Actually he’s a Tsawwassen boy. Closest maternity hospital was in Richmond.

    Tampa is going to have trouble keeping their talented D next year due to the expansion draft and salary cap. I wonder if the Canucks have a shot at any of them. I’d love to see Cernak on our blue line.

    Well if you read it somewhere it must be true.

    He was my favourite Canuck from the 70’s as well. He had a great shot and was tough as nails. I hated to see him traded to Boston but we needed a young centre and Chris Oddleifson was a fair exchange. R.I.P. Bobby.

    Ehlers was +65 in his draft year of Junior so he was my choice. I’ve always wondered if JB made any attempt to trade up two spots with Edmonton to snag Draisaitl at number four. What a difference he could have made.

    If I were GM the team would have drafted Ehlers (at the time).

    Hate to sound like a broken record but why do the Canucks constantly pass the puck backwards in their own zone to a defenceman who inevitably loses the puck and creates a scoring chance against?

    Our PP could use someone like Toffoli.

    And then follow Ehlers and ponder what might have been.

    At least the effort is there tonight. Wish they would stop skating back into their own zone and losing the puck though.
