    The AHL has a lot more head hunters than the NHL

    Wow. I said bring him up for a look see not for the season . Give him a taste them send him back down knowing what he needs to work on . The same with any gifted offensive player . We have a ton of muckers AHL is a lot rougher then the NHL . The NHL is about speed position and compete.

    Look Bringing up Dahlen does three things for him boosts his confidence and he and management can see where he's at. This is one of Benning's pets so get it done.

    I would send Archie and Gaunce down and bring up Dahlen. Dahlen can rotate with Goldobin in and out for a few games Send Gadjovich and Palmu to the ECHL to get some playing time.

    Regardless if he needs more time bring him up for a couple of games so he can see if he needs time. Sometimes players need candy instead of the whip. Play a couple of games and you will see where he is at.

    After a few days reflection, I still wanted a response from the team in the moment a small push back glove to the face scrum something, didn't have to be a fight , I still would like a protector on his line at all times until he gets used to the NHL . Some kind of deterrent Zac MacEwen comes to mind. Would not hurt, give a message that manhandling your star wont be tolerated .
