I am talking about a different thing. I totally understand the seriousness of Covid. If I catch it, I end up in an ICU, as a best-case scenario, given my health situation. What I am trying to say is that Government constantly trying to scare us. And when a worst-case scenario they’ve painted for us have not materialized, they immediately come up with another scenario. They told us that we are in war with virus. To have troops scared is the worst thing a leader in a war situation can do. I want to see the real actions. ICU units are overcrowded? OK, let’s move patients to different provinces were ICU beds are available. When France faced the same situation with ICU beds, they very quickly equipped TGV trains to be able to transfer patients between departments across France.

It looks like, for whatever reason, officials and media keep pushing "fear agenda”. I remember as Dr. Tam warned about 60 000 new cases a day in Canada in December. I am saying that situation is not serious. But why try to scare people?

This is a human nature- to adapt to any situation and living conditions. That’s why we are so successful as species. My parents lived through WW2 in conditions that we hardly can imagine now, under Germans occupation for 2-3 years, and survived. We’ll adapt and keep going, maybe without travel, restaurants, movies, games, etc.

Israel has vaccinated over 22% of population, planning to get to 100% by the end of March. After that economy will be completely open, travel , etc. Canada- just over 1%. Just awful performance by our Government.

Intresting- Aquilini has not mentioned Dr. BH by name , just "health authorities" . It might be a sign that she gave Canucks a tough time of getting games to be played at home.

I am totally expecting cases count go up in January. I was driving past Coquitlam center before Christmas, parking lot was full to the rims. I've done all my shopping on Internet, groceries delivered, no problems whatsoever. Just can't understand why it is necessary right now to go shopping . Besides, it takes a lot of time that can be used for something better then spending time in malls. Just my opinion, anyway.

New cases count seems to be lower, this is great, hope this trend continue

I won't be suprised to see a big jump in cases count starting around January6-8, given what I see around.So, I don't think restriction will be lifted.

I just can't figure out what is a possible political gain here? All provinces are on board with NHL plan, only BC is against.

Today we have: 13 flights from Toronto; 12 flights from Edmonton; 26 flights from Calgary All these cities have higher case counts than Vancouver. Nevertheless, it is OK for people from ON and AB to jump on the plane, come here (no quarantine), and go shopping in our crowded malls or do whatever they want. At the same time, it is not OK for NHL teams (all personel tested constantly) to travel on chartered jet, go nowhere except rink and hotel (and bring extra $$ to the economy in the process) Makes zero sense, but maybe I can't understand something here?

I was driving past Coquitlam Center mall today- parking lot was completely full, can't imagine what was it like inside. And at the same time- Canucks can't play in the empty building? Against players who were tested ? Like I said I really would like to hear an explanation about that.

I really would like to hear Dr. BH explanation on that. I think taxpayers have a right to know. Personally, I can't get it. Hopefully , we still have a few real journalists in this province who can ask tough questions.
