I think I would have fun to watch every single game Green coached in Vancouver. I'm not impressed how he dealt with other coaches strategies. Without Petey and Markström the Canucks would have been inposition to draft Hughes this year...

I rather defend players than inept management... Green has a lot to answer for. Loui is doing his part of the contract. He listens to Green and follow order. He can't do much more than that. And as a few poster has said, there is a few players that are worse than Loui. Send them down to Utica first if Utica is ever a valid place to put them.

If the Club use Utica as a threat it's something other free agents take notice of and either demand ridiculus money or refuse to come here. The club need to take care of the players they take responsibility of if they want loyalty back. You can't have it all. Be a moron and you get what you deserve... Some people seems to not know what they miss when they are morons.

? A contract is a contract. To think it's just fine to force an unfair change isn't about "hold down a roster slot". The contract is written with the value the parts agree on in a certain time. If that change you can't blame the player. Par example, Green doesn't like Loui so he plays him in a position Green knows Loui will look useless in. Neither you or I know what is happening wich means that the organisation should hold their end of the deal.

Well, since the contract isn't Louis fault the club send all the wrong signals to other players if they should be so stupid to even talk about Utica. The only thing the club can do if they find him useless is to pay enough for him to become available on the free market. If the club want to be a serious contender in the league.

Yes, so I'm really interested in how anyone can say he had a good tournament when Sweden lost because the finns played their best line against Swedens worst line where Loui was. Finlands winning goal was when Loui was on the ice. Not Louis fault but the coach because Sweden ran with only 6 defenceplayers and Finland exploited that weakness.

A brain grows til a boy/man is 25 years... Therefor a player is at their peak after 25. Before that they often need time and direction, man management.

It all comes down to man management. If the organisation isn't flexible(modern) it it's approach only certain types of players succeed. With a more individual approach more players succeed... Win win situation.

You misunderstand me... Dahlen is no way near Petey. I say both players thrive when they are surrounded by positive, honest players that want to play hockey. You know, like the Sedins... Not go the hockey rugby style. SHL and KHL is better leagues than AHL. Put players like Dahlen and the finnish player there instead. Let them earn their "NHL" rights a better way.

You saw Petey come full speed from a season where he was the reason Växjö won SHL. High on positive emotions. Flying and scoring and no one can stop him. Dahlen went to AHL where a hard attitude dominate. One big difference. If Peteys latter part with fewer points and a lot of turnovers had been from the start... What would you have thought of Petey then?

If you take a look at Petey he's the same... Get Petey emotionally motivated and he beat every single player in NHL. Hence the collaboration between Dahlen and Petey might have been something extra ordinary. But wich coaches in NHL are that good at man management?

I think the problem with Dahlen is that he wants to have fun. NHL/AHL isn't that understanding(especially in Canada) , as SHL, so he'll probably always have a problem with motivation if he not get a coach with great knowledge in psychology. But if Dahlen has fun he'll manage NHL also but after reading what fans value it seems unlikely.
