    How many fans believe thier is any value in letting a player walk for free?

     

    those that don't do you believe that there is no consequences to trading expiring UFA's?

      so you believe there is zero benefits? what about consequences, is there any?

       

      if you had a reputation of trading 50-100% of expiring UFA's? do you think it may influence players looking to sign here? those that do, would they demand more nmc's and ntc's?

       

      would you think it would effect player chemisty, having a new linemate every year? 

       

      would players take team friendly deals knowing they were worth nothing more than a number?

      there is. Burke has it right, you get the cap space and roster spot. 

       

      UFAs walk every year from most teams. So much depends on player fit, the cap, and valuation that it is more common that some big UFA return.
