Learn to evaluate players properly. Huberdeau was payed exactly what he's worth and earned. He was second to McDavid in scoring one season ago and scored over a PPG three straight seasons before that. You do realize Sutter destroyed his confidence right and now Huberdeau can focus without that psychopath around? There was confirmed reports that Sutter was so bad that players and even team staff were scared to come to the rink every day. So I will enjoy every minute of that Huberdeau contract and if it does not work out than I'll still be glad I took the gamble on it.

I was at the prospects scrimmage at UBC. Willander is what we need and he is very steady, poised, and mature. He is a good kid that interacted well with fans, he has experience playing forward up until two years ago. And he defended calmly and smoothly. You don't notice him too often in a good way because he is so mistake-free. If he hits his offensive upside than Vancouvers blueline is in great hands with Hughes-Willander leading it. Zach Benson is skilled and competitive but he is also just another undersized winger that we have many of. People were only hollering to draft him because he is a hometown product with a good ceiling. Let's focus on Tom Willander and give the kid the support system he needs and deserves.

Can't wait for people to stop talking about Matt Dumba. This guy lacks IQ, he continually plays an erratic style that gets him injured, he is addicted to going out for drinking. All he cares about is his image in nice cars and making illegal hits like the one he did on a class act in Joe Pavelski. Matt Dumba is an overrated clown that would make our blueline worse.
