    IGNORE

    I'll take the Anaheim Ducks
  2. @D.B Cooper put words in my mouth and then only responds with laughing emojis. According to him I lied and claimed to be smarter than everyone. I'll tell you that for free...
  3. I like it! Exactly what the Predators need and the value is fair for both sides. Not to mention the Canucks have no choice but to create cap space and have too many wingers. Garland in particular is one who needs a fresh start. Good idea
  4. Another thing.. I never claimed to be overall "smarter" than anyone nor did I lie about anything I said. Thank you for proving in writing that you twist other peoples words to get a laugh for yourself. I can personally message you proof of anything I claimed and not out of arrogance but just to show you that I do not spend time spreading misinformation. I took time out of my day to share an idea and wanted to add to the material the forum has for users to read, enjoy and think about. You've been on this board for 15 years and have this type of arrogance and inability to see the proper value in players and prospects? Man that's honestly just sad. Sorry I tried to share some thoughts of mine and maybe you should learn what the realistic value of certain NHL players and prospects is.
  5. Maybe if people like you and @GhostsOf1994 learned how to read carefully and think before speaking (which was taught in Grade 1 FYI). Then maybe I would not feel the need to bring up my experience or connections to get a point across. Which I resorted to because I had tried to share a trade proposal I had thought out that has realistic elements. (Pesce is on the market and VAN has inquired about him). And I wanted the forum to enjoy reading my idea plus people had been discussing Pesce and his situation. Not to mention @Elias Pettersson among others agreed with me that Pesces value is being grossly overrated by many of us. But since the reality of taking time to explain proposals to users like you is the equivalent to communicating with a child while they throw paint on a wall; I will instead share ideas with people who actually have an IQ above 65 and let you dwell in your arrogance and delusional overvaluing of players.
  6. Do you know anything about hockey? Or are you only here to make schoolboy jokes?
  7. Continuing to spew nonsense at someone and not even posting points about hockey now. Have you made one articulate or factual point or made any credibie point at all? How LTIR works is the LTIR players cap hit counts against the salary cap but you're allowed to exceed the salary cap limit by that players cap amount. This is why Tampa Bay acquired Brent Seabrooks LTIR cap and have made room using it the last couple seasons. By the way Rathbone jusf turned 24 after this season and has played NHL games between the ages of 21-23 on top of missing time from concussions to two illegal cross checks in fhe AHL. Man I hope Jack sees your comments about him. Your stench of arrogance probably leaks through this forum and down to Rogers Arena.
  8. After Carolina fills out to a 23 man roster and makes the upgrades they want and need (Tarasenko, etc) they will not be cap compliant. This has been reported by direct NHL sources as has the part of them shopping Pesce. Chatfield has already played the high minutes you spoke of and shown he can handle that role. I also mentioned Coghlan and DeAngelo coming back tomorrow but you apparently don't read details. Nice try but how LTIR works is the players cap hit counts but you are allowed to exceed the salary cap by the LTIR players cap amount. Thus Poolmans $2.5 Million would let them exceed the salary cap limit by that much. Stefan Noesen was bouncing around on waivers, the NHL to the AHL, and went through six teams in less than ten years before having a good season last year in Carolina. Saying for the role that him, Martinook, and Fast play, that they're better than Beauvillier is insanity. Beauvillier is younger, healthier, and has much faster foot speed than all of them and has been a far more proven clutch playoff player than any of them and was on pace for 50 points in back to back seasons (the ones that got shortened because of Covid). And if their bottom six forwards like the ones you mentioned were good enough than they would have stepped up and helped Carolina more and not gotten swept by Florida. Beauvillier is the exact type of player who can step up and play with elite players and also NYI fans have commented how he scores BIG goals in BIG moments. Carolina is not trading Pesce to put Beauvillier on their 4th line and you saying that proves that I do have to repeat myself. As I said Carolina is trading Pesce to gain cap space and not risk losing him for nothing. My proposal gives them a proven NHL forward in Beauvillier who makes their forward group better while also giving them cap space and also gives them two prospects and two draft picks. So no it is NOT a poor deal for Carolina and the 2nd round pick being added is actually more than fair. You and many other seriously overrate Pesces value and bash Beauvillier and his value. Exactly one of the things wrong with our fanbase. Bashing our own players and being completely out of touch with the reality of the hockey world.
  9. This is probably the fourth time I've said this but anyways once again... Carolina needs cap space and they are struggling to re-sign Pesce regardless. It has nothing to do with them being a contender now and worrying about losing a solid top four D. It's just about getting cap space and getting any value at all for Pesce before he walks. As @Elias Pettersson said as well.. Jalen Chatfield has shown he can handle bigger minutes and he is ready for more responsibility. Not to mention they have Dylan Coghlan who is ready for more minutes AND as I said they are re-acquiring DeAngelo tomorrow. That is THREE RHDs to fill in for Pesces presence for now. If need be they can and will acquire another D-man at the trade deadline. So all in all getting Beauvillier (retained), two prospects, two picks, and more cap space is a big win. And Rathbone is not a fringe NHL player. He is a top prospect that our former draft guru Judd Brackett found and he was pushing management to draft Rathbone. Rathbone is a rare character kid who has been taking care of his autistic brother for years. He has loads of perseverance and has been stalled by two freak injuries off of two dangerous cross checks in the AHL. I've seen Rathbone play live and that kid can run a powerplay and has alot of jump in his crossovers and mobility. As for McDonough he is a solid prospect thrown into the deal and gets to go with his best friend Rathbone. Also in my deal for Carolina it is $4.025 Million out (Pesce). Then $2.075 Million in (Beauvillier at 50% retention), plus Rathbone at $850,000. $4,025,000 cap space added minus $2,075,000 and $850,000 is $1,100,000 cap space added but then you factor in Poolmans LTIR in the deal and they can exceed the cap limit by Poolmans $2,500,000 which is $3,600,000 in cap space essentially added. Add on the fact they currently already have $3,320,583 in cap space and this deal brings more cap flexibility for them. "They already have much better forwards than Beau" is not the point and nor is it true. In Carolinas bottom two forward lines none of Noesen, Martinook, or Fast are better players than Beauvillier. Beauvillier is younger, healthier, MUCH faster, has more upside, and is as good a postseason performer as any of them. It is about adding more depth up front which is their main goal this off-season. Adding a skilled forward who's also a proven clutch playoff performer is perfect for them (they could have used some OT clutch goals in that Florida series!). When you break down the value of this deal and the need to trade Pesce as I mentioned above you will see that Carolina should have to balance it out by adding the Philadelphia 2nd that as I mentioned they essentially got for free. Pesce for Beauvillier (retained) Rathbone McDonough 2026 3rd Then Philadelphias 2024 2nd is swapped for New Jerseys 2024 4th (the one Vancouver got in the Lazar trade). This is to balance out the value as we're giving up Beauvillier, two prospects, replacing CARs 2026 3rd that they lost in the Gostisbehere deal, and we're retaining on Beauvillier on top of giving them more cap flexibility.
  10. I think you might be the 15 year old here with your jokes and attitude. Also would you care to explain why the proposal is bad for Carolina? Explain why $3,600,000 in cap space added is bad? Explain why also getting a 26 year old clutch playoff scorer at 50% retention is bad? Explain why ALSO getting a 24 year old blueliner with powerplay quarterback upside is bad? (Adds some depth puck moving for now regardless). Explain why ALSO getting a 23 year old power forward who was a Hobey Baker nominee is bad? Explain why *ALSO* getting a 2026 3rd replaced as it was traded for a D-man who walked as a UFA; is bad? Explain why **ALSO** getting a 2024 4th is bad when all that's going the other way with Pesce is a 2nd that was acquired for free almost with other picks for a defenseman that is getting re-acquired at 50% retention tomorrow for only a prospect (DeAngelo).?.? By the way I can personally message you some proof of the things I've said. But you're just an arrogant person who loves to spew nonsense to feel good about yourself. Might not be a point in me doing so...
  11. Hey "homie" try using some professional vocabulary first. I graduated high school nine years ago LOL but thanks for confirming that you jump to conclusions on top of being arrogant. I'm cousins with the Niedermayer brothers and my family was the group that oversaw the construction of Rogers Arena. I played up to Junior A myself and have had connections to high levels of hockey since I was a child. You went onto this thread and starting dissing my idea with zero facts or reasonable opinion. You also showed zero knowledge of young NHL players or prospects and continued to spew nonsense anyways. Also a little pro tip... It's against the rules to swear on here as there's kids reading this forum as well. I hope you hear from a moderator and also clean up your arrogance. Have a nice day.
  12. Thank you. This is what I've been trying to say for hours. You nailed it. And please JR/PA. Go get Mr. Pesce and sign him to a 3 year extension!
  13. The truth and answers should always come from having faith in one firm source. Not having to run around looking at multiple sites and tweets like a mid-range analyst on a caffeine high on Trade Deadline Day! LOL
  14. It's the best platform besides direct NHL personell sources. Don't know why you're still going on about this. Pesce has a M-NTC in which in 2022-2023 and this season in 2023-2024 he submits a list of 15 teams he WOULD BE WILLING TO GO TO. Vancouver is almost guaranteed to be on that list. Anything else you read is probably some journalist wording it as a full NTC for clicks and to make his article make the Carolina and Pesce situation something that it is not.
  15. Everything Rutherford and Allvin have said, they have been pretty good about matching actions to their words. Don't see the point in Allvin lying about something like that. You can choose not to believe it but it makes alot of sense.
  16. Incorrect as it is a list of 15 teams he would be willing to go to and that started in 2022-2023 and he submitted 15 again for this season. But yes Vancouver is most certainly on his list.
  17. It is a M-NTC in which he submits 15 teams he'd be willing to go to. Check capfriendly
  18. There's also many people on here who have never heard of alot of mentioned young players and prospects and thus do not fully know what they're talking about. (Ie. the opinions of McDonough in my proposal). They also do not fully research what the situation is with a team like Carolina. Not to sound arrogant but I work in hockey development (specifically scouting and coaching). Working with players from beginning ages all the way up to BCHL/WHL levels. I'm also related to and in frequent contact with alot of hockey personell and past players ranging from Junior B teams to NCAA to the NHL. So I actually know what I'm saying when I make a proposal for Pesce the way I did.
  19. Allvin said that many players want to come to Vancouver and they actually had some difficult conversations with some and had to turn them away. Allvin blatantly said they turned many players away in free agency and alot of players like the direction Vancouver is heading in and like the culture and coaching with Tocchet, Foote, Gonchar. So yes Pesce would probably want to come here and play for the team that is under the watch of the man who drafted him in 2013 (Rutherford drafted Pesce 66th overall in 2013).
  20. Allvin said that many players want to come to Vancouver and they actually had some difficult conversations with some and had to turn them away. 21. Jarvis can play center and so can Necas (Necas was drafted as one). They were willing to put Martinook on waivers at the start of last season to create cap space. I had Martinook on the 4th line so Beauvillier was not "pushing him out". They are re-acquiring DeAngelo at 50% retained tomorrow and I will be back here to stick that in your face because you need to see things right in your face to fully understand them apparently. Slavin - Burns Orlov - DeAngelo Skjei - Chatfield Rathbone? - Coghlan Don't know why I had to explain that to you.
  22. -CAR has a need for any skilled forward they can get. A proven clutch playoff scorer like Beauvillier who they're very familiar with in their conference is not what they need? -Beauvillier is easily worth a 2nd and at full 50% retention is easily worth even a low 1st. Thus Beauvillier + Rathbone + McDonough + 3rd + 4th + $3,600,000 in cap space is worth Pesce and a 2nd (a 2nd they essentially got for free in the DeAngelo to Philadelphia trade) {PS I had us trading a 3rd and a 4th. Not them trading a 4th as well}. -Speaking of "CAR would need a replacement for Pesce" and speaking of them getting that 2nd (plus a 3rd and 4th) in the DeAngelo trade. They are re-acquiring DeAngelo from Philadelphia at 50% retained tomorrow for one prospect... The league will finally let the deal go through then. So there's Pesces replacement and also still cap space cleared. Not to mention Chatfield and Coghlan are two young and very cheap RHDs who are ready for bigger roles. -It's been reported that Allvins claims of Pearson being ready are not accurate and he still may start on LTIR. Regardless Vancouver will be clearing more cap space and they will be moving Garland and have been trying to.
  23. Their current forward group is.. Svechnikov -Aho- Teravainen Bunting -Kotkaniemi- Necas Martinook -Staal- Jarvis Drury -Noesen- Fast Martinook is ideally a 4th line forward and Drury is not full-time ready and was only up because of their forward group being decimated by injuries in the playoffs. Until last season Noesen has also not shown he is a dependable full-time NHL bottom nine player. Their lineup could be this with a proven playoff performer like Beauvillier AND the added cap space from my trade to sign Tarasenko as well. Svechnikov -Aho- Teravainen Tarasenko -Kotkaniemi- Bunting Beauvillier -Jarvis- Necas Martinook -Staal- Fast Noesen Now THAT is a cup run level of depth for forwards. @BigTramFan This is how Beauvillier fits in. Don't know why I had to explain that for you...
  24. I've broken down the value for you over and over and very simply. You continue to call a player like Beauvillier, two quality prospects, and a 3rd + 4th "scraps". Sorry but your perception is extremely distorted. And as much as I like Brett Pesce and he's a former Rutherford draft pick who is an ideal Hughes pairing partner; you are acting like he's Drew Doughty and that Carolina is going to treat him as such. No. They would love to keep him but will get any value they can. Vancouver calling them up and saying we will do a fair deal with you to get Brett Pesce but also help give you $3,600,000 in extra cap space (which you need). We will give you Anthony Beauvillier at 50% retention, two of our best prospects. And we will also replace your 2026 3rd if you swap that Philadelphia 2024 2nd for New Jerseys 2024 4th. That is a great deal for them,
