  1. Absolutely crazy man! This is the biggest wrestling story of the year. To sellout a 10,000 seat arena with no matches announced and no McMahon marketing is nuts. With it being in Chicago I'm really hoping that Punk is all in, but I'm not holding my breath on that one.
  2. Great opener, rest of the card was shockingly bad.
  3. Can you really blame them though? The match WAS awful. If they keep pushing Reigns into Wrestlemania main events that no one wants to see then they are just asking for these reactions. Agreed. I love Bliss but I'm glad they put the belt on Jax. My only complaint is that the match should have been a one minute squash that made Jax look like a monster. (which is how the match was looking like it was gonna be at the beginning). Once they turned it into a 10 minute match, the match got boring and they completely lost the crowd.
  4. Finally watched NXT/Wrestlemania. Mania was decent. First half was great wrestling especially the 3 way IC match, but the second half fell off a cliff. The Braun payoff was hot garbage. All of those writers and THAT'S the best thing you can come up with?!? NXT though - WOW. Best PPV I have watched in years. Not one bad match, not one match below ***1/2 stars, arguably one of the opening matches ever (on a WWE produced PPV) and the main event which was one of the most emotionally draining that had amazing wrestling and told a simple yet investing story. The heel heat that Ciampa had was something that wrestlers dream of. This PPV reminded me why I love wrestling.
  5. Turns out the story about the charges being dropped were fake/false for the time being. https://www.sportskeeda.com/wwe/wwe-news-rumor-killer-on-sexual-assault-case-against-enzo-amore-being-dropped What's the story? Earlier this week, online speculation surfaced suggesting that the police investigation into alleged sexual assault charges perpetrated by former WWE employee and Cruiserweight Champion Enzo Amore has been dropped. However, these rumors seem to have been confirmed as false. In case you didn't know... Ringside News reported that Enzo's accuser Philomena Sheahan's former friend Sam, tweeted that the case against Enzo Amore had been dropped, leading to both Sam and Sheahan deleting their Twitter accounts. They also reported that they looked into court dockets in the state of Arizona, and discovered there was no record of Eric Ardnt's name, meaning that no official charges have been raised against the former wrestler. The heart of the matter However, it would seem that despite Sam's now-deleted tweet, and these reports that the police are no longer looking into, claims that Enzo Amore is still under investigation after all. Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reached out to the police investigating the matter and received a reply back, confirming that the case is still open at this time and that Enzo is still being investigated. Ryan Satin ✔ @ryansatin Police got back to me in regards to the Enzo Amore investigation. Reports stating the investigation is over are completely false. The case is still open at this time. What's next? So what have we learned? Well, as it turns out not a lot. The police are still investigating the allegations but, no official charges have been leveled against Enzo which is exactly what happened a few months ago. The case is particularly complicated, with counter-allegations being made against the alleged victim, suggesting that she made the whole thing up, and has been ongoing for a large period of time, so we just need to let the police get on with it. If there is sufficient evidence against Enzo, he will be charged and taken to court. Author's take What a mess this story still is, even though a significant amount of time has passed since the allegations were made public and the WWE made the decision to fire Enzo. I guess we'll just have to wait and see what happens.
  6. A lot of dead weight outside of: Frank Gore Chris Ivory Chris Thompson Jamison Crowder If we did the trade keepers would be: Russell Wilson Alvin Kamara Lesean McCoy David Johnson Allen Robinson Robby Anderson or Mark Ingram (I feel we could trade Ingram for another WR)
  7. In our PPR fantasy league, we get to pick 6 keeps. Our WR core needs massive work. We just received this trade offer: Jags defense AJ Green Lesean McCoy Mark Ingram for one of: David Johnson or Dalvin Cook 1) Do you do the trade? 2) Do you trade Johnson or Cook? Me and my buddy are leaning towards trading Dalvin Cook
  8. PPV was very solid. Young Bucks vs Golden Lovers is an easy MOTY candidate. Amazing wrestling and unbelievable storytelling. If you're a wrestling fan, do yourself a favour and track down the match. I can't say enough good things about it.
  9. The thing I love about Owens and Zayn is they are being booked as full on heels. Even though the crowd still wants to cheer for them both they are booing them out of the building and it's glorious to watch. I always though Zayn was the ultimate babyface but man he is impressing me in his current role.
  10. LOL happens to the best of us. This is one of the few times I'm glad that the source was fake.
  11. Ew, not sure I want Derek Anderson. That's a fake account btw. Adam Schefter's Twitter account is: @AdamSchefter. The guy above has 32 followers.
  12. Sam Bradford rumored to the Cards @ $20 million dollars lol. Sure it's a one year deal but the guy hasn't played a full season since 2012. Glad the Bills aren't paying him that much money.
  13. Great trade by the Bills! Bills' picks: Round 1: 12 (from Cincinnati) and 22 (from Kansas City) Round 2: 53 and 56 (from Los Angeles Rams) Round 3: 65 (from Cleveland) and 96 (from Philadelphia Pretty safe to say we'll try and trade up into Top 3 and get the QB we want. I have a feeling the Bills will sign Bradford or Keenum until whomever we draft is ready.
  14. Two more updates: It was previously reported that Jeff Hardy was arrested over the weekend for driving while impaired in Cameron County, North Carolina. According to TMZ Hardy submitted to a breathalyzer after crashing his car. He blew .25, which is three times the legal limit. He is scheduled to appear in court on April 16th. Update 2: It was reported last night that Jeff Hardy was arrested over the weekend for driving while impaired in Cameron County, North Carolina. WWE released the following statement… “Jeff Hardy is responsible for his own personal actions. We are investigating the matter and awaiting information from local law enforcement officials.” CBS Sports reports that the incident leading to Hardy’s arrest for Driving While Impaired states that Hardy, “was driving northbound on Concord Parkway when he allegedly “ran off the roadway … striking about 105 feet of guardrail before the back end of the car spun out 90 degrees … coming to rest in the middle of the right [north]bound lane of travel.” It was estimated by police that Hardy caused $8,000 of damage to his 2016 Cadillac and $5,000 to the guardrail itself. Jesus this guy is an effing trainwreck.
  15. Jeff Hardy was arrested over the weekend for driving while impaired in Cameron County, North Carolina. PWInsider has confirmed with the Cabarrus County Sherriff’s Office that Hardy was arrested at 10:20 PM on Saturday night, and was released at 11:24 PM. Details are not yet available on the nature of the arrest outside of the charge. Hardy has a court date set for April 18th. Hardy has been on the shelf ever since undergoing surgery in September of 2017 for a torn labrum and a torn rotator cuff. He was set to start preparing at the Performance Center for his return to the ring later this month. The site notes that Hardy was levied with a thirty-day pretrial revocation of his driver’s licence. Hardy has previously been hit with two Wellness violations from his previous run with WWE, but has been clean since he and Matt Hardy returned last year at WrestleMania 33.
  16. New Japan Cup Night 1 last night. Michael Elgin and Tomohiro Ishii put on a beauty. At this point, I'm seriously considering scrapping my WWE Network subscription and getting a NJPW subscription instead.
  17. Yeah he would be pretty sweet in there. I'm loving the Flip Gordon "All In" stuff.
  18. You watch Being The Elite? Cody Rhodes just may be the best heel in all of wrestling right now. And Joey Ryan is a god damned beaut.
  19. Which means Seth will still be a face in that feud. You would think WWE would realize that at this point, but Vince McMahon either is a) an idiot or b ) stubborn as crap and doesn't care.
  20. I'm okay with Coach and would take him over JBL any day now. JBL was GREAT when he first started but got progressively worse with each passing year. In the last couple years he just seemed to stop caring and became a caricature of himself with lines "We got ourselves a flying bull!!" and "I LOVE IT MAGGLE!!!" repeatedly over and over. I'm also easily annoyed with tweener announcers, so that didn't help him either in my eyes.
  21. I'm kicking myself for not buying NEO when it was at $65.
  22. Yeah, he looks like he's having way too much fun with NJPW. I'm hoping he signs a 1 year contract with them. There's so many good matches/feuds he could have there.
  23. I would love a Sami victory but don't think there's a chance of that happening. Think we'll be getting Owens/Zayn at Mania which sucks, because I really wanted them to stick with the Owens/Zayn team for much longer than this. Given the right amount of time though and depending on how motivated Nakamura is, AJ/Nakamura at Mania could be a possible MOTY contender.
