    One of my favorite Canucks. I thought the exact same thing once I was over my surprise when he skated on the ice. Even if Bertuzzi could somehow "transfuse" even a little of that mean streak into Jake. Its interesting that Jake is right close to the point in his career that Bertuzzi was when his trajectory really started to trend upwards.

    Great game. The nah nah nah goodbye chant brought back some good memories. You lose 10 lbs when you are sick, you’re pretty damn sick, giving Ferland a few more games before I get worried. Boeser, late camp, right into concussion protocol, the family issues on top, he’s getting a pass from me right now.

    Maelstrom #1 penalty killer! Tanev headed down the tunnel.

    Ferland is the perfect fit on the top line. That net front presence is key on a line with 2 laser beam shots coming from both sides, he can take the punishment and finish. The protection aspect he provides is huge. Miller on that line is a nice option, especially if Petey is having a bad period or game in the face off dot. Might be something to look for late in games with key ozone starts.

    Horvats Captain material. Works as hard as anybody. Stable, married man. Charity work. Doesn’t complain about his line mates. Go to guy when you need to defend a late lead or score the tying goal. Great choice.
