Myers penalties are coming from aggressive play. Not being out of position or turning over the puck and having to hook or trip. I like his game right now. It blows my mind, how good Hughes is. Motte is fearless.

Just got home, missed the game. Did we dominate most of the play?

Our D looks night and day different from last year. Not getting hemmed in. We have the players with the ability and smarts to make that quick, accurate pass out of the zone, also possessing the speed and danglebility to skate it out when necessary, especially Hughes. I think this is resulting in less pounding on our D and not laying out constantly to block shots, Tanev is most definitely benefitting from playing with Hughes. I feel our transition game is going to result in less man games lost to injury this year.

When he was sitting in the box, that one knuckle looked like it was swole twice the size of all the rest. My bet it’s a hand injury.

It has to be tough for Hutton to see what a complete turnaround we have made and not be part of it. The only King I could give a rats arse about.
