    Good thing we upgraded our toughness in the offseason. Lost two players to bad hits in a &^@#ing preseason game and not a wimper. But hey, at least we won the game.

    Remember the first young star tourney that Jake played in as a Canuck. Against Flames, Oilers and jets. He was a wrecking machine. Scoring goals, hitting McDavid/Nurse, being a pest...... WTF happened to that guy...... I assume its gone away because he is now playing against men and not boys.

    So far tonight I have learned that the intermission music is somehow Calgary’s fault as they had a team in Abby like 4 years ago, that Myers is a great dman when getting an assist but brutal when he rushes the puck and makes a bad pass, Sutter is not injured yet, kids are still doing the floss dance and that even though Virtanen should be having the game of his life in his hometown, he still has more to give.......

    Lol. So you have gone from not a fan to an all time favourite player. Amazing what a preseason goal can do.

    These boards are hilarious. I think Sutter is a good player and has filled a role for us in our transition but for years now people have been complaining about JB and his high price signing of veterans like Beagle, Sutter, Loui, etc. How it has killed our “cap management”. Now Sutter has one good preseason game which may help to find a taker for him and everyone thinks he is the key to us making the playoffs.

    Lol, we all talk about anchor contracts on the 3rd and 4th lines. We have a guy who has a good game to increase his value and some want to keep him to make the playoffs
