    Agree with this 100%. We aren't the Montreal Canadians. We don't have the old time folklore or history of those teams. Carolina named a new captain on twitter last week. Get it done.

    I don't think for me its as much the fact that it is Sven specifically. I realized someone was going to be pushed out. It's the fact for me that our bottom 6 are as $&!# as they were last year.

    Not sure how these two statements align. I think we are better this year based on having a better defence on paper this year. Was hoping for a deeper forward group with our two new additions but I guess Green loves his plugs.

    Is it at all possible that Green is the one who is dictating what he wants for his bottom two lines? How can we still have the same mix on the bottom two lines we had last year? Baffling.

    Was actually pretty excited for this year but the waiving of Sven is pretty disappointing. The additions of Ferland and Miller was supposed to have a trickle down effect to the third and fourth lines and what they would look like. Those two lines look no better than last season. Brutal. I have been a Benning fan but this is poor management. The fact the LE is still on this team is just brutal.

    We need to stop looking at the forwards as top 6 and bottom six. We need to be looking at it as top 9 and bottom 3 now. We need three lines who can score and one shut down line. Sven surely fits in the top nine.

    Have tried this for a couple of weeks a couple of times. Could barely get up and down the ice. Felt bagged. Maybe I didn’t do it long enough. Definitely dropped the pounds though.

    Meh, it’s preseason. This game is ugly though. Not a ton of bright spots.

    I think it’s fair to say that it’s nice to have tough decisions to make this year.
