  1. Also looking for playoff players.

Will give more than OTTS pls don't PM him.

Also looking to add strong players for the playoffs, especially on defence. Want more than a few picks or prospects? Check out the Winnipeg section of the rumor mill on page one....

  2. WAIVERS: The Nashville Predators have claimed Matt Pelech from San Jose via waivers.

*As Nashville doesn't have a roster spot available for him, they have 24 hours from this post to create one or he will be automatically placed on waivers again to be assigned to the minors*

  3. New Philadelphia Flyers lines:

Mikhail Grabovski - Mikko Koivu - Ales Hemsky

Tuomo Ruutu - David Desharnais - Brad Boyes

Travis Moen - Max Lapierre - Martin Erat

Brian Gibbons - Chris Vandevelde - Shawn Thornton

    Nick Holden (emergency forward)

    Dennis Wideman - Travis Hamonic

    Andrew Ference - Jordie Benn

    TJ Brodie - John-Michael Liles

    Carlo Colaiacovo - Jean-Philippe Cote

    Ondrej Pavelec

    Anders Lindback

Remember 3 weeks ago, when Philly had 13-14 active NHL players and only 4 defencemen?

    Great job so far Azzy!

LTIR: The Winnipeg Jets place Andrew Alberts on injured reserve.

LTIR: The Florida Panthers place Chris Neil on injured reserve.

LTIR: The Washington Capitals place Patrik Elias on injured reserve.

  5. Also, curious to know if the commissioner counted the 10pts that Raanta collected as he was not put up onto my pickup roster until after the fact. I had a 61pt night that day when I should of had 71pts.

Points are always added retroactively when a player move is backdated. The move was entered for Dec. 22nd as posted.

  6. Reminder to the commissioner that I called up Marchenko and he is yet to appear on my pickup roster and thus, I do not have his 6pts that he contributed on Saturday.

This move is pending for January 3rd, waiting for the site to add him to the database.

  7. Ahh, the inevitable 'back to work' day. Have a good one folks! Oh and if you had one game to go to for the rest of the year, what would you pick:

    Sat March 8th, Flames

    Sat March 29th Ducks or

    Sat APril 5, Kings?

THis might be the only game I see all year ....

I'd go to the Flames game, but that's just me. Because for me, I'd have to take time off work (costing me at least 600 bucks in lost wages), burn 2 and a half tanks of gas (about 200 bucks), get a hotel (about 130 bucks) and eat out for 2 days (around 200? bucks) to go to a game. Add in the cost of tickets (200? bucks) and random expenses (100 bucks), it costs me about $1,400 bucks to go to a game in Vancouver. So I tend to pick ones where the Canucks have a higher chance of winning. Because it sucks when you go through all that and 7-8 hours each way to go to a game where they don't show up and lose.

    Man... I'm a cheapskate.... :huh::lol:
