Can't say Rampage deserved the title shot when Machida is the one who came along and looks unbeatable. I think he'd tear apart Silva alive. Silva looked anything but impressive in his last two fights. I've never seen Machida anything *but* impressive.

Me too. I'm so dissapointed that Mir got injured and forced White to move that fight up. Everyone was so pumped when Jackson got in Evans' grill. Jackson is the #1 contender, he'll probably lose in any title fight. Maybe Evans takes a few months off. White's not an idiot, and I'm sure we'll see this fight within a year. As much as I wanted Sugar to win, Machida is just an all-around powerhouse and may belong in the conversation of top pound-for-pound fighters. Maybe if Silva takes down Griffin we could see him fight for the LH title.

This was my first real dissapointment since I've been an MMA fan. Whenever Machida knocked Evans down, I thought that Evans could salvage a knockout win. Machida is just too friggin' good. Evans went down on a jab, but he fell hard. The way his neck turned was disgusting. Serra/Hughes let me down. I thought there would be much more striking, but I was pleased with the result, as was the Sherk/Edgar fight. And I've become a fan of Drew McFedries. I feel sorry for Foupa-Pokam. You train for weeks on end, and it just ends so suddenly. Lavigne was slow to call the fight dead. McFedries could have killed the poor dude. Decent night. Worth the $40 I spent at the bar.

May be at the point where you could copy a Coldplay riff, have them sue you, then countersue them for stealing your riff. Oh Long Tall Sally-Beatles Paul McCartney has such a great blues voice. Good thing he hardly used it, or it'd have ruined his nice little melodic voice he has.
