I'm taking Florian just because I hate BJ so friggin' much. I want to take Griffin. It's not so much that I don't like Anderson Silva, it's just that I want GSP to be recognized as the best p4p fighter in the world. It's been so long since Griffin had a win, and it's been so long since Silva had a real fight. I really have no idea what to make of this one. So I'll say Griffin. After that, I like Sadollah, Almeida and Pellegrino.

I agree, and certainly after listening to it, and getting back to listening to their older stuff, I can see where their older stuff was so popular. I've had Whatever People Say I Am and Humbug on pretty solid rotation for the past few days. Humbug is a great album. Cornerstone is so far my favourite track, but there's a lot of stuff set up for singles that'd work. Pretty Visitors is the next single, I'd expect Dangerous Animals will come after that. Depending on how much this album sells (and I expect it'll sell a lot of copies) I figure that Secret Door could be a single too.

What would prevent Fedor from fighting Brock and Carwin and being respected as the greatest heavyweight in MMA's short history? It's not the money. Zuffa has offered all kinds of cash I bet. I think it comes down to the lack of respect Dana showed Fedor in the past. I do like Dana's style, but he's gotten in trouble with it many, many times. Once the fighters unionize, he'll have to go.

What's really upsetting in this is that the heavyweight division is probably the most stacked division in UFC at the moment. Fedor would have no shortage of opponents, and we'd see great scraps for a good five years. Fedor, Brock, Carwin, Velasquez, Gonzaga, Mir, etc:... When the Canadiens wanted Jean Beliveau on their team, he was loyal to the Quebec Aces, some minor pro team. The Canadiens ended up buying the Aces so they could transfer Beliveau's contract. Maybe Dana should think of this. I wonder how much $$$ Zuffa has.
