  1. Heaven just got a lot tougher. We’ll miss you, Gino.
  2. Most one dimensional has been. Except for that shoulder shuffle, I never notice that guy. This is supposed to be his year. But he doesn’t break a sweat out there.
  3. EOL just about injured. I see more injuries coming to Canucks with all the shot blocking and what not. I hope we don’t sit on potential trades too long or it’ll become a moot point, and John likes to say.
  4. It wasn’t a gloved punch. It was a knuckle sandwich, which makes it worse.
  5. For roughing? It was delivering a cheap shot. Very dangerous. Should have been at least 1 game.
  6. Very curious comment. If Hughes is pouring shade on management, he may find himself taking OEL’s spot in the press box next.
  7. I wish Horvat would have stood up for Garland at the end too. Instead he was just hounding the ref, like he was imagining how many goals he could score 5-on-3. We should trade him before he gets injured. Canucks tank mode is on full blast. Hopefully Demko doesn’t get back too soon or he might throw a wrench in that.
  8. Canucks and expansion twin Sabres are the longest continuously running active NHL franchises to have never won the Stanley Cup. I’m willing to wait a few more years if we can get a proper plan in play. The current path is the long road of mediocrity.
  9. Our management and owner are sure awesome. They have responded so well to everything this season. I have full confidence in their every move!
  10. The thing that I think surprises folks with Bo is that he was chosen to be captain of this team because of his innate leadership qualities. We’re used to seeing our past captains put the team first, like Linden, Sedin and Messier (jk). We expected Horvat to take a team friendly deal as he heads closer to UFA status. Is that a fair expectation? Of course not. But he seemed like the type who might do that. Then again, when you do a closer inspection of Horvat’s leadership qualities over the years, I’m not sure he would belong in the category of a Linden or Sedin, when looked through the lens of time. He is good on faceoffs. He back checks. But he still hardly hits, doesn’t really stand up for teammates, and while he’s good for standard media quotes, what has he really done for this franchise since he was brought in? Our team has stunk under his watch.
  11. You just know that with our luck, Horvat will get some season ending injury any day now and then sign with some team in July. If Canucks are serious about trading him, let’s just get ‘er done.
  12. I don’t think big Trev was to become a UFA at season’s end when we traded him though, was he? This is going to be a deal for a rental player, which doesn’t fetch as much as we’d like.
  13. I used to think JT Miller was the more natural goal scorer between Horvat and Miller, but Horvat will score more goals this season that Miller has ever scored in a season. Perhaps we *should* be keeping Horvat over Miller.
  14. Canucks management are making it so hard to be a fan of this team these days. If they’re going to indicate the whole frigging team except #40 is on the table for trading, they need to actually make some trades rather than continue down this stink path where players have no idea if they’ll be here next week, and fans having no sense of direction with this team. This is literally the worst position management could be in - at least if we were tanking hard right now, we’d be securing better draft pick. It’s like management is just sitting on its hands, hoping everything will work out on its own. The General Manager and team of woke assistants should be ashamed, and start actually doing something.
  15. I am so sick of seeing this team lose, and management not doing a thing. This team is horribly mismanaged right now. Horribly. We deserve better than this.
