  1. Yeah that was on the 2011 run...when we were stacked up front and everyone was having a career year. SINCE then he hasn't touched the 4th line and as I mentioned before there were instances where he even played on the 1st line this past season. Just because he spent a handful of games playing where he did doesn't mean he was brought in to do that. Have a looked at his career stats...multiple 20+ goal 35-45 point seasons. While you are at it look at this TOI during the 2011 cup run. He AVERAGED about 16.5 min PER GAME. http://www.nhl.com/ice/player.htm?id=8470274&view=log&season=20102011 Last time I checked 4th liners don't play those kind of minutes....especially under AV back in those days. That's like saying Mike Richards is a 4th liner just because he played there during a cup run on a stacked team.
  2. Agreed. Where he belongs. This past season was a different case though.
  3. Numerous games unfortunately this past season. Regardless....the point is he is not a 4th liner. I said 1st and 2nd line in a BAD way. He should not be in a top 6 on a contender. Not sure what you are getting at?
  4. Higgins brought in to play on the 4th line?? LOL. You in the war room with Gillis when you hear that? Someone with a career .48 PPG average and making 2.5 million doesn't play on the 4th line. Regardless of what team. On a contender he is best suited as a 3rd liner. Problem is last year he spent most of the time on our 1st and 2nd line.
  5. Isn't it a fact that the stomach is the last place on your body that slims?
  6. Now down to 190 since the start of cutting at 206. Definitely more defined and starting to get more veiny but a bit frustrating with the stomach having some flab left.
  7. Yet the Stanley Cup Champions were playing him 15-20 min a game in the SCF.
  8. This. I find it hilarious that all these people my age who are finishing university/college are thinking its a golden ticket to automatically get a job with great pay. I know a girl who finished a business degree at SFU LAST YEAR, and just found a mediocre job NOW. I also went to SFU for a bit before switching to another institution. You're in for a big surprise. The university theory took you for a ride my friend. It's the person...not the degree that land/hold the desired job.
  9. Anyone that gives Mayweather that kind of trouble is an A fighter in my book.
  10. Agreed. I think Khan would win decisively though. The only fighter Broner has still fought that is considered an A fighter in Maidana. His fight against Molina was a joke. Extremely boring and against a clearly inferior fighter.
  11. What happened to the guy who said he had experience in the Oil Rigs and could give advice? Cyril Sneer I think his name was?

why not post a threaf in Off Topic? .. there are several oil rig types here I am sure .. or I will get a son to come on and help you.

  12. LOL haters gonna hate. Guy was merely holding the bar. What could he have done if the guy needed real help with that kind of position and grip? C'mon man.
  13. I'd rather just keep the 6th. We could potentially draft a stud if one of the top 5 drops or we could end up with a promising player that fits the mold of what this team needs in Ritchie. Not worth it in my opinion. If Benning wants to move up, 2015 draft is the time for that.
  14. LOL. It's going to be a fun 5 years in our own zone. Not sure why Linden covets him so much.
  15. Stay away from pre-workouts unless you REALLY need them on rare occasion. You become reliant on them while your body grows a higher and higher tolerance very quick. Plenty of my friends now resort to 3 scoops before every lift while barely feeling anything.
  16. At the same time it is kind of disappointing losing weight you worked hard to gain. I think I will have to get to about 185 before really starting to see full abs.
  17. Down from 206 to 193 since start of cutting. Starting to notice more toned chest and stomach.
  18. LOL at Ovi celebrating like he just won the SC or Olympic Gold...

I'm with Florence on this one. Winning is winning, whether it be hockey or rock-paper-scissor or cards.

I may not win in hockey like he does....but other facets of life I will def win a lot more.

  19. With Benning its pretty clear that if none of the consensus top 5 fall he would pick Nick Ritchie.
  20. France for Gold!......

  21. I am in no way doubting Floyd as the winner here, but it was a lot closer than I expected. No way do I see it as dominating as the Canelo fight. The Canelo fight was about as perfect a fight as possible and Canelo was just outclassed and could not do anything the whole fight. I understand it seemed closer than it may have been because Maidana was the aggressor, threw more punches ect ect when in fact a lot did not land. However, taking that into consideration, his game plan did give Floyd some trouble. There is no denying the concerning body language Floyd was showing throughout the fight especially at the end when decision was being announced. He was unsure himself. Regardless, rematch he brings a better game plan and it won't look this close.
  22. Floyd, for what ever reason simply did not put up his best. There is no way 6 months from a completely dominating performance against an A fighter changed his ability. Athletes of his caliber don't slow down that quick. He clearly just had an off fight. Be it his relationship issues that recently caused drama or his super late night nocturnal behavior. I'm sure he comes back way stronger in the rematch.
