     I the only one hoping Brady Tkachuk drops down to 7th? I know we need offensive defenceman but man this kid is going to be something.

      But that's not why we should pick him. We need to pick him because after watching his highlights, I'm convinced he will step right into the NHL and be effective. Super solid two-way centre, who is larger than average with tremendous skill and speed. He is probably the best all-around forward in this draft. It makes our highly sought after defensive centre Brandon Sutter expendable. Especially with the apparent interest in the market for Sutter.

     Best thing about the CSS rankings? I heard of a player I'd never heard of before: Yushiroh Hirano.

      24 goals 22 assists for 46 points in 54 games in the USHL this season. Decent stats and he's Asian so the Canucks should strongly consider him. He would at least bring fans back to their seats at Rogers Arena.

    Despite the Shinkaruk deal, one thing JB is not shy to do is pull the trigger. I suppose that's a positive trait for JB, TL, and co.

    With Bo, Jared, and now Markus, I think the Canucks have found their future 1c. I think one of them will become a true number 1 center.

      They're all going to be #1 centres. The question that should be asked is: Which one of them scores 50 goals in a season? My answer is McCann.

      If Byfuglien can make it, so can Pedan. No one on our current roster can hit as hard as Pedan. Pedan is part of the solution.
