Forget trades, I don't care about our return for Lu and Schneider, our overall draft/development record has completely sucked for quite awhile. The end of Gillis' tenure and the start of Benning's, has shown an improvement in both categories, yet the fickles still want Benning on a pike.  

You mean the effects from Gillis not being allowed to rebuild this team in 2011 when we had players near their max value?

And the Aqualini's hiring Torts, who then basically forced a Luongo trade and handcuffing Gillis with basically no return.

If we bottomed out sooner years earlier, we would have already been on the way back up.

How much talent is Gillis supposed to draft without top 10 draft picks. These same players we missed on Karlson for example, over a dozen teams also missed out on.
