I personally would rather see my team loose than resort to cheap Briun like efforts to win. I will never be a fan of a team that purposefully attempts to injure another teams stars. Reality is last night we lost despite our fantastic PK, next time I'd like to see the Canucks focus more on scoring and less on cheap hits and chriping the other teams players.

Am I seriously the only one who thought this was one of the worst games the Canucks played this season? Dale Wiese especially pissed me right off last night. The slew foot was a cheap suspension worthy play, if a player did that to one of the Canucks we would all be calling for his head. Then later on Wiese for no reason at all trips Quick (although Quick went down well pretty quick) and takes a stupid penalty. Or as I like to call it, he pulled as Kassian. Also with less than 5 minutes left in the game Torts rightfully calls a timeout, which instead of focusing on how to get the game tieing goal, Bieksa decides to use to chrip the Kings, seriously shut up and score! The only good thing last night was Lacks play and our penalty killing.

According to the ESPN article on the US selection, Orpik was a lock to make the team and all the coaches really wanted him.
