His TV career was pretty much second to none -- the guy had roles on hit shows like "Hawaii Five-O," "Hogan's Heroes," "Perry Mason," "The Man from U.N.C.L.E.," "McHale's Navy," "The Untouchables," "Peter Gunn," "Cain's Hundred," "The Andy Griffith Show," "My Favorite Martian," "The Big Valley," "It Takes a Thief," "Charlie's Angels," "Scruples," "Murder, She Wrote," "Oz," "JAG," "That '70s Show," "Touched By An Angel" ... and dozens more over his 7-decade career. Nonetheless, it has been reported that anti-SARS-CoV-2 serum antibodies experience rapid decay in the first few months after infection, raising concerns that long-lived BMPCs may not be generated and humoral immunity against this virus may be short-lived11–13. Here we demonstrate that in patients who experienced mild infections (n=77), serum anti-SARS-CoV-2 spike (S) antibodies decline rapidly in the first 4 months after infection and then more gradually over the following 7 months, remaining detectable at least 11 months after infection. Anti-S antibody titers correlated with the frequency of S-specific BMPCs obtained from bone marrow aspirates of 18 SARS-CoV-2 convalescent patients 7 to 8 months after infection. S-specific BMPCs were not detected in aspirates from 11 healthy subjects with no history of SARS-CoV-2 infection. We demonstrate that S-binding BMPCs are quiescent, indicating that they are part of a long-lived compartment. Consistently, circulating resting memory B cells directed against the S protein were detected in the convalescent individuals. Overall, we show that SARS-CoV-2 infection induces a robust antigen-specific, long-lived humoral immune response in humans.

We are far from safe. The issue is these morons can possibly pass the virus to someone who can't be vaccinated. What if it is determined that kids under 4 or 5 cannot be vaccinated? The earliest approval may happen is late this year or early 2022. Now these morons are risking these young children getting infected. I know you'll probably say they survive by some 99.9 odd percent. Yet, we still do not know the full extent of long term health impacts. Are Covid-19 survivors more susceptible to lung cancer? We need to do everything we can to end this nightmare, and getting these morons to get the shot is going to go a long way to making that happen. Common sense.

The whole point isn't convincing you or me to get vaccinated (I'm waiting to get my second Pfizer shot BTW). The point is that we need to convince those who haven't and are skeptical of the vaccines. The hesitant people. These are the people that will need to be convinced for us to get to or get as close to herd immunity as possible. The quicker we get there, the fewer unnecessary deaths. The fewer people who may/will have significant health issues after "surviving" Covid. The lower the chance of the virus mutating into a vaccine resistant strain. That was the point. That is the point that all of us should be getting. So yes, you should care.

Are you stupid or dishonest. Vaccinating as many healthy people can provide protection for the 5% that vaccines don't work as well as the people who for MEDICAL reasons cannot get vaccinated. In order to surpass the 70% number when herd immunity will start to kick in, the overwhelming majority of healthy adults will have to get vaccinated. Relying on children will not get us past 70% this summer. Getting to herd immunity also helps to reduce the chances that the virus will mutate.
