I would love to see Kevin Cheveldayoff attack a plate of hot wings.

It felt like people weren’t projecting Moore as an NHL C. I think that’s why he’s fallen. It was happening in a lot of mocks as well.

I agree the fact he’s playing college hockey is a bonus for me. Guy seems all business and I like the line that he’ll do everything he can to get better.

After the top 5 or so, the whole board was a blender. Which bodes well given the reputation as a deep draft. If we found a top 4 RHD we’ll be very happy with the pick even if a guy or two below puts up bigger numbers.

It’s true, though. Would have been interesting if a few other names were still on the board but no surprise with what was left.

Perfectly good pick. I made my case for C but with Danielson/Dvorsky off the board Willander was my next choice.

Yep. I knew Dvorsky and Danielson wouldn’t fall to us. Take the trade down if we can or just go Willander and call it a decent day at the office.

With their boy Danielson off the board may as well trade down and we’ll still get a very very good winger or player. We’ll see though.

I feel a little vindicated liking the guy taken by one of the best C’s of all time. I did have a sinking suspicion someone’d reach for him. He’s going to be valuable whether he reaches his ceiling or not.

Willander or Danielson - and I like Danielson so I’m alright with it but I know some aren’t as bullish.
