I dont think so. I have similar concerns. I dont see it as panic. Petey seems like an awesome person, however he is also an awesome player and many will be telling him what he could make. It make sense that some fans have concerns that he might be wooed away by dollars and a better chance to win. Though I agree with you that we have a good squad.

Isn't he good? Maybe the most cerebral fighter out there. Timing and grace under fire. It's like he can slow down time and finds the perfect spots. Really impressive. Didn't watch your vid but I read about is bball injury. It does suck.

He's awesome. That's great to hear. Still dont like that Rick got in the way of his 40th. With that kind of attitude, I would have thought the coach would have helped the kid out as he was so close. Kuz has the talent to make up for some of his gaffs. He's a bit high risk, high reward...very exciting. Hope Rick doesn't squash that flare too much.

I agree. i was just using him as a point. Being a player obviously gives you insight to the game like no other. But it is not a lock that it will translate to being a good coach. On Rick, I'll give Tocchet this, he does seem like a good communicator. I do pull for our teams success. I know you rememer me going on about JT Miller when many, including you, kinda gave me the gears. i dont have a great feeling about Rick but again, I want to be proven wrong.

How would we really know? I'd be surprised if any first year player would come out publicly against a brand new coach. Kuz is something though. His talent is obvious, but more than that is his attitude. He is personality is absolutely electrifying. I bet he is a real energy in that room and it is no surprise that he became a fan fave. Tochhet is so lucky to be nepo-gifted this squad.

No I have not. Just stating my fear regarding Petey and referencing Rick's mess up with Kuz. There was no good reason to get in the way of getting his 40th in his first season, a season where we were not making the dance. However Rick got in the way anyway. Yep, It's taking Roy a while. He had to lose his chip on his shoulder and realise that being a good player doesn't equate to being a good coach. Wonder if he will get another crack at the NHL. He did need to learn the ropes. Too cocky.

I find a lot of good players dont go on to be good coaches. Roy and Gretzky for example....you dont get better players than that. Toch has a lot to prove. I find Toch types as great teammates. Not unlike Miller they are get leaders on the ice. Behind the bench is a different beast. Have to be able to motivate all types of players. Assests like EP and QH are move valuable than any coach, that's why they get paid like they do. Toch better make sure he can be more than just a hardnosed oldschool type.

I dont know if re-signing EP will be all that easy. He doesn't seem like a Tocchet type to me. He's hard enough on himself, he's a carrot guy that will never need to recieve the stick. He also has talent above anything Rick had. He saw how the coach treated Kuz ....I bet it gives him some pause for consideration.

Thanks. Good advice. One thing that I have added for my hips is putting in some sets on the hip abduction machines. I'm soo dumb, I used to kinda see them as the girl exercises....but it turns out men have hips also, who knew? They seem to be adding strength and stability where I need it.

The only real goal I have is consistency. I have to do one thing every morning. Get up and go to the gym. I tell myself when the alarm goes off at 5am that all I have to do is get there. I give myself the mental freedom that once I am at the gym that I can just walk on the treadmill. That I can skip my planned workout if I want and just go for a stroll and listen to my music. I always warm up with 10 mins walk on the treadmill even when I am full of energy and ready to hit the weights. On the days that I am not feeling it, I grumble my way on to the treadmill and think 'not today, i'm tired....' Everytime, after listing to a tune or two....waking up a bit...my mind changes...I'm here anyway...maybe I'll just do a bit... I get my workouts done. I'm a fan of doing my workout in the morning. Then it's done and you feel good for the rest of the day. No stress. Set yourself up for success, eat well, get sleep. Think about the 'morning you' the night before and try to do him a solid by going to bed early or not having that extra beer. Remember, you can take a day off....just make that day 'tomorrow', not today. Just some unsolicited advise from your pal Bishop.

It's 2023 and they have a good economy, 3rd in the world. It makes me wonder if this government bond /printing money dealio is all that bad, or are they heading for a rude awakening even though they have been doing it for over a decade?
