Yeah, I have the same feeling too. Italy's defense is just really strong and they drew against Spain. Everyone is just jumping on Germany's bandwagon just because they beat all those weak teams lol! Even without Chielini, Italy did a marvelous job of shutting down England's offense. I mean 8-9 attempts for the whole 120 minutes against Italy was pathetic, while Italy countered with 34 attempts and had 63% possession. Italy is playing a chess match and no one will see it coming once Germany gets defeated by Italy.

I don't see them winning. They have to go through Spain and Italy. Beating Greece is not impressive, let see how they do against much stronger teams.

And thanks for proving my point that everyone loves to hate the best teams. Back to back President's trophy winners, hated because they win and are better than most teams not because of the diving, whining etc. Every team whines and dives but not every team wins. We are hated because we are contenders. I guess you aren't a Canucks fan.

Germany hasn't even faced a strong team, and its debatable that Portugal is a strong team. They faced a weak Greece team, average Denmark team and Netherlands (the worst team in the tourney that lost every game). None of these teams have the defense and goalie that Spain and Italy have. In fact, Germany could lose to those defensive teams. Germany has the best offense but defense could be a key to winning the Euro. I don't know who will win but I like Spain's chances and Italy has the potential to upset Germany.

Canada is a sovereign country yet we still kiss England's butt in everything they do. It seems like Canada will always be dependent. Canada is a multicultural country and most Canadians were born in Canada. In fact, the real Canadians are natives. Also the Canucks dive, whine, cheat and do other crap and am still a Canucks fan. Everyone just hates Italy because they are always relevant in Football like Brazil. England is just the love able losers that everyone cheers for. Everyone pities the weak; jealousy you have to earn.

Except Buffon has won championships bud and he is one of the most clutch goalie in Italian history. He won the world cup in 2006 for Italy in shootouts. He is the exact opposite of Luongo and he is better looking too.

I knew Italy would win. I like to see Italy in the final. England sucks and they are really overrated. Don't know why Canadians cheer for England. Loved how Italy dominated that game and hopefully they beat Germany too.

Well I never got a headache or anything like that, so I guess am different. Aside from maybe wrapping a wet towel around your head with a fan over your head, everything else shouldn't give you a severe cold or headache. If you get headaches camping out or having your windows opened, then your body is a little too sensitive.

The raccoons won't do anything if you don't bother them. You could close your tent if you are scared At least it is better than having skunks in your backyard.

No need to buy an air conditioner in Vancouver when there is probably 1 month of heat wave in a year. I suggest you sleep naked with all the windows opened with a fan blasting air close to your face or you can sleep outside in a tent (depending where you live). Maybe wrap a wet towel with a couple of ice cubes around your head after a cold shower and have a fan blowing over your head. I learned a lot of strategies in staying cool when I had to deal with a worse heat wave than this

Go sleep outside if you are hot. Some of my neighbors have put up a tent in their backyards and the night breeze is pretty cool.

I've lived in Cairo, Egypt for 1 year and once visited an Iranian city, Ahwaz, for 2 months. Ahwaz can reach 55 degree celsius in the summer with sand storms blowing from Iraq. You would be covered in dirt and sand if you went out for 10 minutes.

This heat wave is nothing compared to what I've experienced in some cities I lived. You will know what hell REALLY feels like once you live in a city that hits 55 deg. celsius and has pollution and sand storms daily. If you ever lived in that condition, you would probably wear a ski jacket in this weather.

I really hope his throat doesn't swell badly. We really need him and Kesler, because our team defense is weak. Our PK looked horrible without him, so it just shows how vital he is to the team. His contract is a huge steal.

We have to see if it swells up overnight. Maybe he won't be in the lineup tomorrow due to swelling in his throat. It is a good thing that he doesn't seem to have a collapsed trachea which would have him in the ER. It would be wise for him to stay at the hospital overnight so they could monitor his condition like when Loungo got hit on the throat.
