I used to drive a car with a manual transmission but when I saw this thread, I sold my car and bought a car with an automatic transmission because I don't like clutch anymore.

Because of this thread, the word FAIL should now officially be changed to Clutch. CDC users should now use the word Epic Clutch instead of Epic Fail when they encounter stupidness and CDC mods should change the forum's setting so that the word fail is automatically changed to clutch.

You should watch the Apocalypse: WWII 6 part series that goes in depth with the history of WWII and you will learn something and at the same time appreciate what the Canadian soldiers did to liberate most of Europe alongside the British, French and American army.

You've got to be kidding me. The German public were already brainwashed by Hitler and most were really patriotic. Even the german kids were giving their life to serve Hitler. What would the German public really do anyways, since Hitler already had his huge army and they were on pace to invade the whole Europe. Going to war against Germany was imminent and had to be done to save human lives and humanity.

Am just saying that people here believe anything they see or hear and the interweb is full of fakes and frauds.

How do we know it is you? It could be a random picture of someone else taken from their myspace or facebook account. Same goes with all the pictures posted in here and people being gullible enough to believe it. If people want to post pics of themselves, they should also hold up a piece of paper with their user name written on it.

Aren't you one of them? Also, this forum seems to have a lot of tweeners and 15-17 year old kids. I feel like a pedo talking to some of these people

I don't know why they want to use a more inferior technology or even a different technology when the existing SkyTrain technology is proven reliable. It just doesn't make sense.

Hopefully they will use more advanced technology when they build the Evergreen line and all the other future lines. Canada line just seems like a rushed project built as cheap as possible for the Olympics. I wished they spent more to build something which could last at least 50 years.

That would have been a better bid than SNC-Lavalin's 1.72 billion dollar bid. So stupid RAVCO rejected their offer since it was a measly 100 grand more even though it is a much better technology and would have been integrated into the SkyTrain network seemlessly. I just don't see any logic in that except the fact that they were greedy. Hopefully the structure is made out of real concrete and not papermache

Wow, they really cheaped out on a lot of things. I think they should have went either with the same SkyTrain technology or a technology more advanced instead of going back to an old generic technology that is becoming obsolete. I bet the Canada line would also need higher maintenance, since their trains are motor powered. I really think they made a big mistake spending as little as possible on an infrastructure that would be permanent and vital to this city.

I went to the airport today to pick up my mom and I think the Canada line from YVR is already in operation since I saw some passengers riding it. I thought Canada line would open on August 17th.

I don't know if they "inhance" the image of security.

Will the new Canada line resume normal operations on August 18th? I am planning to ride the Canada line to YVR and am wondering if my U-pass is valid for that line?
