    This is pretty much it. Any fan with half a hockey brain knows the Canucks are a poor defensive team. Like Sven Baertschi or Mr. Neutral Zone Turnover himself Nikolay Goldobin is going to help that cause. Eriksson sucks but he’s the best option we have given the makeup of the team.

    Zero killer instinct. I mean zero. You’d think a team who’s been struggling lately coming off a big win would come out and play a full 60 vs a team on the road playing B2B but nope. Not confident and lacking a winners mindset. Don’t even know who’s at fault here.

    Statistically they aren’t. But I mean in the last 5 years 2 cup winners have prevailed because of such moves.

    Still have faith. However, since the Anaheim game the Canucks have been concerning. The consistency has gone out the window and the ability to turn things around late has disappeared. If confidence and fragility are an issue in the room, it’s a tell tale sign this team is not ready or capable of battening down the hatches and getting it done in crunch time, which means they aren’t ready for a brutal, 7 game series.
