    How is choosing Price to be the starter an insult to Loungo? And Babcock said Hamhuis and Subban don't have much of a chance given how well the existing pairings are playing. Considering the defence has accounted for half the team's offence while limiting the other teams opportunities it's pretty tough to argue his point. But by all means, act like a child and cheer for Latvia.

    Price has been a different goalie since they brought in Stephan Waite to be his goalie coach. His positioning and confidence are so much better than last season

    Diaz is a solid defenceman. His offensive spark hasn't been the same since his concussion last year but he can log a solid 20 minutes a night and you don't have to worry to much about him

    That "punk kid Subban" is a 24 year old Norris winner who leads his team in scoring, has put up 71 points in his last 89 games while being +22. I'm not sure why you feel the need to run him down to try to justify Edler's worth

    I don't understand how CBC is "ignoring" the Canucks. The Canucks play on a Saturday 15 times this season and 13 of those games are broadcast. The two games they aren't broadcasting are afternoon games. So where's the problem? Is broadcasting 87% of the possible games really ignoring the Canucks? I swear some people on this board actively look for crap to complain about.

    It was an unique situation. Once Schultz deregistered from school the Ducks had a 30 day window to try to sign him before he became a free agent. He didn't sign so he became a free agent last Monday. He was allowed to talk to interested teams at that point (including Vancouver), but not allowed to actually sign a contract until today. There was no tampering by Edmonton or anyone else that he spoke with after Monday.

    He's a free agent already, he just isn't allowed to sign a contract until tomorrow. Where exactly do you see this tampering?
