I think we all know what vegas is going to do to our Cream-Puffs tonight!

I am definately giving PA and JR a bit more time, but I'm certainly not impressed with what I've seen so far, especially with their inability to do anything to change-up the defence which they themselves pointed out was our biggest problem last year - and as you can see this year as well and now you see the results with our dreadful losses one after another. Not due to lack of scoring but due to the one of the very worst defensive corps in the league. The 2nd Round Draft Pick Giveaway to get Stillman and dump Dick&Son although irononic and painful to see (especially after JR said he wouldn't throw away draft picks) is only one of a growing number of questionable moves by this regime that flies in the face of what they themselves said needed to be done. I won't go into some of the other minor moves they've made and that 1st round selection in last years draft (picking another finesse swede) but I'll conclude by simply saying that my hopes for this regime are slipping day by day!

If or should I say when we lose both the Vegas games and Colorado next week that will pretty well "seal the deal" on this team having a realistic chance of maybe slipping into the very last wild card spot and that will likely be the end of BB and then put JR on the Hot-Seat to demolish this team once and for all and position us for a good draft. There's still hope when we lose those next three games. Fingers crossed!

It's bad enough that this team has been saddled with over 20 years of stoic, passive, emotionless, cream-puff, swedish finesse pushovers on our team but now we have an inexperienced Rookie Swedish GM to further torture us with trades like this - and Stillman for a 2nd????? OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What next?

The worst part of it is that I strongly suspect Alvin is forcing Bruce to keep playing him so Alvin doesn't lose face in one of the first screwball moves by him. I'm NOT Impressed at all by this move. Definately a sign of a rookie GM!

Hard to believe our Rookie G.M. gave up an extremely valuable 2nd Round Pick and Dick&son for this guy! Seems no one thinks he's of any use for us except Alvin & The Chipmunk Girls. We'll never restock our cupboards with prospects if we keep making these Jim Benning type moves over & over again. Will anyone ever learn?

Hope everyone savors the moment while we're solidly in 26th spot - a whole 4 points clear of the basement because we play Vegas twice and Colorado in the next 3 games which means we'll likely be in sole possession of 32nd last place in the entire league by this time next week - unless divine intervention happens!

I'd take a player like that any day over emotionless, stoic, empty passion floater players like OEL any day!

Demko, wasn't that great. he made a few good saves - for sure - but got lucky with a couple of goal post and a crossbar and at least four empty side shots by L.A. that they missed on. This game could have easily went LA's way - but didn't. He still looks injured to me and not playing with the same speed and aggressiveness as last year.
