    PS I should add that I am not 100% sold on Mittelstadt either as a top 3-5 pick, but his skill set does intrigue me as it is exactly what we could use on this team - if it did actually translate. It should also be noted that he is not just a goal scorer, but is very good at being a play maker and pushing the pace with his speed game.

    Hoping to hear some good news on goldy today. If the rest of the season is about giving new/young guys a chance we need at least one who can score. Crossing my fingers he can stick with bo and Baer

    That's what I've been thinking.  english is full of adjectives to soften the point you're trying to make.  Talking to the media takes time for russian players

    Of course Brock probably goes straight to the NHL but that'd a fun line to watch if somehow they all played a season with Utica.

    An all ushl line. It's awesome to see for a fan who's been watching ushl hockey for 20+ years. Now if the Canucks could draft a Des Moines Buccaneer I'd be complete.

    Either as a 4th liner or 13th forward. 

    If he is going to get better then he needs to get used to playing with the big boys. 

    If he doesn't make the team this year then he will have only one more year to avoid being called the b-word, bust.

    I don't agree with you at all. He'll be with the team on a sort of part time basis this year and will be in the opening night roster next year. Barring the unforeseen of course.

    I would guess pronman prefers olli's steady intelligent approach to provorov's higher risk style. Both fantastic players. 

     

    The fact we have a guy being measured against provorov as one of the best junior defensemen in the world is incredible

    for the orgs future.

    Huge disappointment is an overstatement. Goal totals aren't the only metric. Especially for a guy who is more of a playmaker. He was just shy of PPG
