I recall Gillis chasing hard for him while trying to offer the Panthers Luongo.

so Boston Bruins have loaned out Jakub Zboril a 2015 first rounder, ( think he's headed towards bustville) anyways, he has a professional contract with the Bruins and expected to continue in the AHL, however as we all know the AHL season is in as limbo as the NHL season, Boston loans him to the Czech leauge to get playing time, anyone think this is a great idea to do the same for our young guys? Heck even if Kole Lind for example playing a German leauge or not even a tier 1 leauge but to get some ice time over seas, I think it can really help, for example send him and Lockwood over seas maybe?

he's been wrong before. Particularly when he said, Vancouver's not winning the next 2, they literally win the next 2 and bounce the blues in 6.

So your saying he's not a goalie guy
Good thing we got Jimbo who is an expert scout :D
my gosh he's a terrible goalie guy and it's not like Canucks fans didn't want to see his stuff work out.
He gets rid of Arturs Irbe, who miraculously has a winning record for us in 97 1998, lets him go doesn't sign him, Irbe gets a back up job in Carolina only to steal to show with the Hurricanes plays in the NHL all star game in 1999 and a Stanley cup finals in 2002,
.attempted to make things work with Kevin Weekes who was via the bure trade, that didn't work, traded him for declining goalie in Felix Potvin, meanwhile Garth Snow gets a shutout 1 in ever wins he has, he doesn't work out, Potvin was probably the worst goalie of the 3 goalies that plays under Burke at this point, he fails, he gets traded separtley for nothing, we flip dependable Au-coin and a 2nd rounder for Dan Cloutier, who has melt downs in playoffs, and also never worked out, picks up, tries to pull a Johan Hedberg by hoping Martin Brochu can turn into something that didn't work out he really underestimates the goalie situation. The entire time he was here he never solved the goalie situation and had believed Cloutier can be that man, and he was a massive failure.
In Anahiem they already had Gigure. Lucky guy didn't have to worry about goaltending.
in Toronto he once again fails to really address anything, lol. yea not a goalie guy.

one thing I can tell ya guys, sure Mcdavid , Draisatl, Matthews will "lite" it up during the regular season but I young core is bred for playoff hockey. No Canadian fanbase is more excited about their core then Canucks fans. Flames fans ready to blow $&!# it up, Leafs fans wishing Mathews, Nylander, Marner play with a heart, Mcdavid Drai not choke. Laine cares about hockey etc.

Can Lind make Gaud expendable? I might take some heat here....
Keep em both. Why are we moving Gaud? phasing in younger guys if we want to move someone move out Sutter or someone else.

Kole Lind I'm going to assume based on Benning saying
"Why isn't anyone talking about Kole Lind?"
had him ranked in the 1st round 100% sure about this. I'm also certain we wouldn't rank him in the first round if they didn't believe he can be an offensive top 6 player.
hoping Lind can be an consistent offensive pesky winger like Riley Smith of the Knights.

I think in a month or so I will be able to watch this, but I'll need a bit to get over the pain.
same. I unhallowed the Canuck instagram for now since they are posting a lot of things that are making me cry. I will of course follow them again then Brock Boeser decides to be a nice guy and thanks the fan for their support.

Russian kids have to earn it. I wouldn't read much more than that into it.
19 year old kids are hard pressed to get ice time in a "any" professional league.

our young core playing so well in their first playoff experience. our team was literally lead by our young guys.Horvat Petey Quinn, Brock.

Burkie on our UFA, RFA, and 2021 re-sign class.
would recommend hearing his take of what he would do. Former gm of van.https://www.sportsnet.ca/nhl/video/point-canucks-spend-money-off-season/
video in link
lol I don't have issues with hearing from former GM's. However Burke did a terrible job managing the goalie situations on every team he's worked for except for Anahiem which he didn't have too since Anahiem already had a goalie.

Keep Toffoli and Tanev this summer let Pearson walk next year.

Demko is in their heads right now! it's one thing when Horvat was in Billington's head, as that's just one player but the entire team has Demko in their head!

drafting has been good. No team can draft perfect. (Virtanen, Juolevi) none
trades have been not great, but the bad trades are
a high 2nd and McCann for gudbranson was bad.
throwing away a 2nd rounder for Vey was bad
trading Forsling for Clendenning bad.
trading a 2nd for Baertchi bad
Trading Vanek for Motte great
Gudbranson for Pearson great
31st pick and a 3rd for Miller great too.

the forefathers of the Canucks have came back from a 3-1 deficit more then any other team in NHL history. It is in our bloodlines to do so! It's time to channel this resiliency once again whether it's Demko standing on his head again or an emerging hero that will lead us to a game 6 victory.

What a brutal article. Don't see him as a fit on the Canucks other than on a PTO.
that ship has passed long ago. Schultz was a long time Canuck fan and expressed interest in playing here even going back to 2016 but It seems like Benning has no interest in him. Hilarious Craig Button thinks he will be a candidate for team Canada in 2014. Not even close.

yes but we have lost all playoff games reffed by Kelly dick face Sutherland since 2011.

the Canucks did out hit the knights by a lot and having Ferland will have help. at the same time I take a 2nd round playoff exit over the outcome of the 23 other teams that are sitting on their asses
-
Canucks with 47 hits. shots were very even. We are only 1 of 2 nhl teams in history to come back from 3-1 deficit twice. (94 and 03) we will have to do it again.

8 goals given up in the last 2 games.
Switch things up or we screwed.
WCF: (1) Vegas Golden Knights vs. (3) Dallas Stars | Stars win series 4-1

I don’t care what you guys say, right now the stars vs knights give or take is similar to the Canucks knights series in terms of sog and puck possession, the only difference is maybe stars top pairing is a little better and overall the stars are more physical but that’s about it. Stars up 3-1 I feel we could have been in the same situation if demko started from game 1.
