Faith in humanity has risen a smidgen. Went to look at a car today before work. Lost my wallet in the process (400 cash, CCs all in there).
Got home 20 minutes later, realize it's missing, drive 20 minutes back to where it was dropped.
Receive a phone call from my wife, a good samaritan picked it up after he and another person randomly arrived at the exact same time. Other person looked super sketchy, seemed like he would have taken the cash.
Anyway, he drove to my house and dropped it off, refused a reward.- Show previous comments 1 more

@Tre Mac I must be doing something right in life, I was never afforded this measure of good luck before. The universe (humangous big) is telling me to keep doing what I'm doing.

Found one in Osaka(few yrs back) took to nearby cop shop(Koban). Had about the same amount(actually 40,000 Yen). They take your info(10% is returned to finder, is tradition)..just said forget about it. Was some college kid's wallet..prob was drunk, dark alley next to ramen shop, yada yada
You hear stories in Japan of briefcases of cash returned...LOVE that about this place.
I usually don't even bother locking my bike. Only thing stolen is my heart(repeatedly!:^)
