1.

He has been back in last seasons form for a while now, but I agree tonight he really was flying. Great job on the poem!!
2. He should have had an assist on th Ballard goal but that bum Joslin(who only played 5 min!!)got his stick in there an stole it. He also should have been +1, but he changed with Sammy right after he played the puck in on the Ballard goal. Anyway he is starting to prove to all the haters and doubters why he belongs on either the first(my preference)or second line. He is obviously just now starting to feel close to 100%, and that is why we are starting to see the Burr from last year. Our lines are also looking very strong the way they are now set up,and it will be interesting to see if Tambellini can keep up his good play. Anyway Go Canucks!!!!
3. Man your hatred of Burrows is embarrasing. You obviously don't watch many games down there, or if you do you dont Know that Burr is Returning from serious injury and will start lighting it up any day. How many goals has Hansen scored?in his career even? Cmon man. I know you are smarter than that.

4. Alex Burrows will soon start lighting it up like he did last year. It is only 7 games in to his season and even though he only has a couple of points, there are some very encouraging signs.First his shot totals and chances are trending upward, even though AV is only playing him around 15min total ice time. Some people dont realize that he gets NO power play time, and right now our team is scoring most of its goals on the powerplay. I just think that Burr is too good of a player to stay quiet for long. I am sure he w ill get back to his old level, but it may take more time than some people think it should. This is because of the Very serious nature of the injury he suffered at the end of last season. If you look at the examples of other players who have had the same type of surgery, almost all take time to get back to there former level. Anyway I am a huge fan of Burr and I can't wait to see him continue to become a better hockey player(not that he isn't a very good one allready).
5. I appreciate your polite response, I was probably a little fired up as I am a Huge Burrows fan. I agree with most of what you say, especially your praise of Burr, However I must point out that he Broke his hand in the first game against Chi that year, and needed surgery after the playoffs. That is why he was not effective against the Hawks in 08-09.I just hope he stays healthy this year. Then watch

6. no wonder you are so hated. Find something smart to say. Burr is a GREAT player. he doesn't need the Sedins. You ever watch a hockey game, or know what makes a good player?.

7. Good old Canadian boy.

8. The reason why it is familiar is because it was used over and over again in the olympics.I really like the song and if it wasn't for the fact that the IOC are really lame about letting anyone use there stuff maybe the Canucks might consider using it. If they like though they should try to get the rights it.

9. Great post about Burr. I wish i had a plus to give you. next time. Nice work though.

10. why do you always insult people for no reason.

I actually like a lot of your posts. Except when you are rude for no reason.

You don't have to act like your hardcore. just post your opinion.

11. He is obviously talking about who he thinks the Canucks might be targeting in this years draft when he refers to "gems". Tanev and the other guy have already been signed and it is obvious from the way the article was worded, he was not talking about them. But if he was it was a poorly worded article. He should also have said possible "gems". Otherwise it was a helpful and informative read.
12. how do you suggest Burr do more than the huge amount he already did(5pts in last 4gp against Chi when it really counted, When the guy could'nt even raise his arm to take a shot. He did 99% more than any other NHL could have with the same injury.

WAKE UP,IF TAKE INTO ACCOUNT HIS INJURY HE WAS BY FAR OUR BEST PLAYER.Im sick of stupid comments regarding the fact that Burr had a bad postse...

13. Kesler ,Burr on the fourth line?. What are you smoking. They are two of our best players and were 3rd and 4th in scoring. Both were injured in the playoffs, and Burr will require surgery.I hope that they're playoffs did not mislead you.

14. The true third Sedin twin

15. Stop all the hating on Burr. You even have a quote in your sig which shows how he has been underestimated. You should know better. He has only been a offensive player for the last 2 years. Take a look a Kes stats last playoffs,2g no assists in ten games. And he was healthy!!!. Then look at Kes this year. If anyone will be a big playoff performer in the future when he gets healthy it will be Burr.

16. Burrows is injured. Your logic about how he has only scored 4 goals in 17 playoff games is flawed, because he was only healthy in the series against st.louis when he scored 3 goals in 4 games. He then broke his hand in game one of the second round last year and had to have surgery after, which you conveniently forgot to mention. After all the chances he got game one in L.A it is obvious he is hurt.

17. God I hope he didn't get hurt again. Hopefully it is just a stinger. And he will be healthy and feeling good, for the second game. Imo he has been playing hurt since game 2 of the first round. It was so obvious he was hurt, he wasn't shooting the puck and was not really attempting anything offensively. But he was still doing a awesome job defensively, he is one of our best players and it makes me so mad when people say he is not a playoff performer. That is total B.S. If you know hockey you know all the stuff he does on top of all the offense he provides. Did you see all the chances he was getting in the first game (cbc counted five in the first period) against L.A. He took a huge hip check from Scuderi and after that he was extremely tentative whenever attempting a shot, But he was still awesome defensively for the rest of the first round. Tonight he was extremely unlucky that he didn't get any points as he was involved in both plays by his line which resulted in goals. I think he will be a huge factor in this series, both offensively and defensively. He has had such bad luck, and he has been hurt, that the bounces have got to start going his way. Please hockey Gods I beg you, reward Burr for all his hard work. GO BURR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
18. I wish I had more minuses left but unfortunately Im all out. You obviously don't understand hockey much eh?. Burr did a awesome job opening up space for the twins to do there magic, you could tell he didn't even want to touch the puck unless he was sure that it would result in a point for Henrik. Henrik even pointed out what a great job Burr did in creating space for him. If you were watching on the first goal he tied up their defenceman at the side of the net, so that Bieksa had a straight lane to the net uninpeded. He then played decoy on Daniel second goal so that Danny had room to take a pass from Henrick and drive the net with no one close enough to get in his way. My point is If you understood the way hockey works you would realize that there are many reasons why Burr is the best fit on the top line. He creates space, he is gritty and is very good at turning pucks over for the twins to work their magic, He has watched them for years and Knows where to go when they have the puck, he can finish, he is a underrated play maker he is highly skilled and he never ever takes a shift off. These are not even all of the things that he brings to the table. Also as far as he can only put up points with the twins, that has been disproven by the fact that he has played well whenever he has played with any one else. He has 5 shorthanded goals and 7 shorthanded points.(the most in the NHL). I am looking forward to the day when all the people who still don't think Burrows is a good player unless he plays with the twins, are forced to eat their words. How can you bet against a player who has come so far(the East Coast League) and who has proven people wrong about his abilities year after year. All I know is if you asked the general managers of nearly every NHL team they would all pay more than 2 million to have a player like him on their team. I just hope he stays here for a long time, puts up a lot of points and hopefully retires a Canuck.
19. The line of Kes Raymond and Sammy were very effective against L.a. during the regular season. I personaly do not think Demitra deserves to take Raymonds spot on the second line. They were together as a line for almost the whole year until Demitra came back, and they were one of the reasons that we had consistent scoring from two lines throughout the year. Imo Demitra should be on the third line with Wellwood and whoever you think deserves that other spot.Obviously the top line stays together, so it will be important to have at least one line that can consistently take the pressure off the twins and Burr. If you water down the second and third lines too much trying to create optimum offense, you may end up with two okay lines instead of a strong second line and a decent third line. Chemistry will be very important.
20. Hey mate, My dad is from OZ and Ive been there several times, Awesome Country very similar people to here. Any way I was just curious if you can get games on satellite down there, does the signal reach. Also if you have never been to Vancouver what made you a Canucks fan? I know when I was there no one knew anything about ice hockey!!

21. Only problem with your playoff lineup is Grabner,Demitra,Hansen don't play center. Otherwise I agree with your lineup. Same lines just Kes,Wellwood,Johnson at center. And Im praying Burr and Danny will play tonight vs Anahiem if they can. We need the points as we haven't locked up the division title yet. And we don't want to get into must win territory so the next couple of games are crucial.
22. Did you see his play tonight. 8-3 loss to L.A, a possible first round opponent. For me this was the straw that broke the camels back, I have been believing Luongo would be okay and that he still had time to get his game together but after tonight I don't know what to think. I know that Lu basically mentally checked out of that game after the first or second goal. I don't think fatigue should be a issue as he has only played 5 games in the last 12 days, that should be more than enough time to mentally decompress. And I don't think the Olympics are a excuse anymore as they were more than a month ago. I believe that lu hates to sit out, he has said he likes to play his way out of any problems. So when he is told by AV to take a break for a game he resents it and instead of taking the time to decompress and relax he doesn't so therfore he is still mentally fatigued the next time he plays. He better find his game by the next time he plays because we still need to win some games if we want to clinch a division title and not just back into the playoffs.
23. Your post's are all designed to cause people to get angry and/or to start an argument. Why is it that you have nothing better to do than to Troll this site everyday. Get a life buddy. You are a loser and no one likes you. Get lost Goof.

24. Agreed. But he will be back with the Sedins, even they say he makes them better. What a hockey player!!!!
25. It's also unfortunate that the organization gave up second and third round draft picks for Bernier. If it was just the money i could see him being moved or something but they have invested to much in him.
