  1. Thats debatable..Browner got suspended because he tested positive for adderall. Adderall is perscription drug and I beleive can be used in the NFL if you do have a perscription(or atleast I have read that somewhere). I think it is also a recreational drug as well tho so it may have been used just as that. Whereas Miller failed 2 drug tests. Apparently it was just weed he was trying to hide but if anything I think that would be worse, because atleast adderall is legal if you go through the proper channels. I personally think all drug test failures should warrent the same suspension. First strike 6 games 2nd strike 16, 3rd your gone forever. They should also start taking hair and blood samples as well. Piss tests are too easy to beat. That would certainly put a stop to all the rampant drug use, tho the PA will never allow this as half the NFL would be gone if they did lol
  2. Thats a good team.. I don't think you will like you TEs though and your Def is nothing fantastic either but you can always pick up def on the waiver wire. I'd suggest Cleveland as a sleeper.. Personally myself I will be looking for RB and TE early, I think the depth at those two positions are much worse than others
  3. Hmm interesting.. I never knew they suspended people based on diluted piss tests. That article is obviously pretty biased they are trying to make it sound like he did nothing wrong and was just staying hydrated. They seem to be missing the point that diluting your own pee is the best and easiest way to pass a drug test. I know plenty of people that have done that themselves and it rarely fails. It is entirely possible he did this by accident, but would have had to drink a ton of water just prior to the test. If he failed it once due to over hydration and truly was clean, like he claims, why drink an excessive amount of water again before your second drug test? I understand the whole keeping hydrated during workouts, but he would have to drink a ton water. Certainly sounds suspicious anyways.. 8 games is harsh, though I wouldn't complain if he missed a chargers game lol
  4. For couple more years ya, we will see after that but your dark times are rapidly approaching
  5. I hope so, I am just startiing the second book tonight, though I found Cat to much worse during season 2 so we will see. I want to get ahead of the show before the next season starts how far through the books do I have to get through? Did they only do half the third book in season 3, or did they pretty much finish it? I liked the 1st book anyways they seem to explain so much better
  6. Lol I had a good laugh untill I remembered how many ring my chargers had...sigh geez as a sports fan my life is rough I am pretty excited for the season to start though, I've got my tickets to watch the Chargers play Giants in San Diego
  7. Your a Cat person? I have seen all 3 season and am just starting to read the books now. I am about 3/4 of the way through the first, and I probably hate Cat even more than I did in the show. I'm stalled out on Catelyn chapter right now just because I cannot stand her Lol. Please tell me gets better and less annoying
  8. I could see that, probably be a quarterback carousel there. Though I bet they approve compared to last year. My guess would be the Donkeys. Their defence is way too overated and already are going through a lot of injuries. They might make a wildcard spot. Them and the fins, they spent a whole bunch of money and didn't get a lot better. Still have a huge whole LT, some good wallace will do if you don't have time to throw him the ball.
  9. Losing Harvin for 3-4 months certainly isn't going to help. Though I feel you can put the 49ers in that boat as well, seeing how everyone either has Seattle or 49ers as SB champs its not hard to disapoint if those are the expectations. Who do you guys have as biggest surprise team of the year(good or bad)
  10. There is a database out there of all the arrests since 2000, I saw it this morning. To be fair of those 27, 3 were Titus Young who isn't really in the NFL and has proven himself to be crazy.. 1 of them was the Chad Johnson inccident, which to me is ridiculous, and I really wonder how that judge has a job... there are also a lot of them were either drunk in public, DWI's, and other lesser charges. Not saying that this should be tolerable, in fact it is unexceptable and something should be done about this problem. I just don't know what the teams or the PA can do. Every team already has a service where no matter where you are, no matter what time it is, if you call a number someone will come and drive you and your car home. Yet there was probably 10-15 arrest this year for DWIs. Unless they try to implement a 3 strikes and your out of the NFL policy, which the NFLPA would probably strike over, I don't know how they try to fix this issue
  11. Very admirable by the Pats, that is the right thing to do. Scary for Pats fan though, with the likely hood of Gronk missing the season opener that is their top 5 receiver from last year no longer on the team... with Amedola who is often hurt as the only player brought in..
  12. I like our draft, Fluker, Teo and Allen were all considered 1st rounders at one point. Still have a lot holes though specially learning about Ingrams injury today, though I feel pretty optimistic still. We can surprise a bunch of teams. I love our receiving core, they are going to surprise a few I think.
  13. I wouldn't get your hopes up, there's almost no chance any GM would trade an elite level player to a division rival. If Revis is traded I'd expect it to be to the NFC. Either that or Jets fan really need to question their new GM.
  14. its so painful being a chargers fan this year. How do you let the ravens tie there...4th and 29 and they get it by a dump off pass to rice ughh
  15. I play in a deep 20 team league, so we only start 1 RB, I have Charles who's been real hit or miss this year. I'm 7-3-1 if I can some how get a good game out of Jordy Nelson, Charles, Washinton and Hilman as my flex I can wrap up 1st
  16. I called the Ravens overated lol. Its based of a gut feel more than anything. But I have no faith in their offence. Ray Rice is a good back and they have good WR's and TE's but if it came down to them needing to score I don't beleive in them. Couple that with all their injuries on Defence and I'd move them down to just in the top 10 in the NFL.
  17. Wow I'm jealous my RB's blow this year and picked up Hilman on the waiver wire thinking he would get the start and they go with Moreno WTF! Moreno is garbage.Bears D is good and i think they are a good team when Cutler plays. When they played Houston Cutler got injured, the Bears just seem like a different team with out Cutler. But that was still a good win.I just personally don't think much of the Ravens they seem SB champs 1 week then the next look like crap. Especially their offence, everytime I start beleiving in Flacco he craps the bed. Somehow I'm expecting them to be pretty lackluster today and lose to a bad Chargers team, it wouldn't surprise me. Overall I think Houston is good top 5 yes, but I just hear people call them runnaway favorites. I just think this year the NFC has better teams in it
  18. That's fair but let me ask you this who have they beaten that was overal impressive? They have 3 decent wins that I can see even those could be argued. They won against Denver, but that was at the beggining of the season when the Broncos weren't playing as well. A win against the Ravens, who is another team I'm not overly impressed by. A win versus the Bears where Cutler was knocked out at half.Wins are wins and a 10-1 record is nothing to balk at. They are the best in the AFC, which I beleive is just awful this year. But not the best in the NFL like many claim.Though my original point was I don't beleive their offence is something to be really feared. They are good not great. Love their deffence tho especially JJ Watt
  19. I don't really agree I think a lot of people are making Houston out to be more than they are. Their Defence is good thats hard to argue, but beside Arian Foster and their run game I don't think their offence is too much to fear. Andre Johnson is no where near what he used to be, he is still good but far from elite. Owen Daniels is a decent TE Garret Graham and Kevin Walter are nothing special at all. Foster and their play action make the rest of that offence look good.
  20. It's close, I still think Rodgers is the best Qb in the league, and if you were to build a team I'd start with him. Because he is just as good of pocket passer but much better at throwing off the run and scrambling if needed. However I'd bet money on Manning winning offensive player of the year, purely because of the comeback story.
