  1. Interesting the way I read it was they added the 2nd year at 20 million to help spread the cap hit over a couple years instead of taking one big hit. But sounded like he would cut at the end of this season. Simply because no cb is worth 20 million; is that how you understood it?
  2. I don't know you want Jared Allen do you? He's already come out saying if he doesn't get a fair offer he's done. I dunno to me that sounds like someone who already has one foot out the door
  3.     Thats the beauty of Revis, he's so good covering you can stick him on the best wr, give him no help and actually shift defense to the opposite of the feild and run zone blitzes from anywhere. The bucs didn't use him proper, but go back and watch Revis with Rex and thats what you saw. Geez if you guys get browner too, wow that will some defense.. Now you just need to sign Lafell and Edelmen you should be set. Sproles to Philly! Wow thats one dynamic backfeild
  4. ^Ya Vaccaro and Byrd is a ridiculous safety combo, I'm jealous Well its official Ware to Denver, cmon this isn't even fair anymore
  5. ^thats true its not a sure thing but I'm just hearing a lot chatter about it, and from Revis standpoint who was pissed off last year the way schiano was using him, I'm sure playing for BB would be a dream. I'm really high Revis, no offense to Sherman, Hayden or Peterson but I just think his cover abilitiies are just on whole other level. Which is saying a lot. For the rest of the AFC sake I hope it doesn't happen, but if I was you I'd be pretty excited about that possibility
  6. I have no idea why you guys are sad about this, like you said Talib had 1 good season and now you're being heavily linked to the by far the best CB in the NFL in Revis. Thats like a burr to ovie upgrade I'd be estatic if I was Pats fan. Then I also see you have Lafell visiting you're team, thats funny cuz I mentioned that months ago on here as a good fit. I'd say if those two moves go thru that should easily get you thru to the AFC Championship. My chargers signed Donald Brown today, I'm not sure I really get that move would've rather given that 3rd rb spot to a rookie but oh well. TT coming from Indy probably expains that. Apparently we are also in running on hakeem knicks, I'd love that as signing, someone to take some attention off of Keenan Allen
  7. Wow tons of signings already..DeMarcus Ware just released too!
  8. Defense wins championships, proven yet again this year. In my eyes Revis easily the best cb in the NFL, when he was with the Jets the way Rex Ryan was using him was amazing, he was essentially covering half the feild while they were running all sorts of overloaded zone blitzes on the opposite side. Whether you like the Pats or not, I certainly do not, you cannot take away from BB defensive brilliance. Just look at their dynasty years who was their big name wr back then? Ya thats right...
  9. Wow where is NPF? Shefter is reporting eagles and Pats are the two teams following this the closest. Billichek working with Revis is a very scary thought for the rest of the NFL
  10. We will see on Friday who is crying because of Crosby, team K-Swiss is trouble then
  11. How did they not deserve to win? It was tight game score wise, but watching it sort of looked like a 60 minute powerplay..
  12. Ya I'm not as concerned about this game. We have had trouble scoring against trap teams. Well we know the USA won't be playing a trap. So I'm expecting a pretty open flowing game which I think favors us, and will give our forwards that little boost. I wouldn't be surprised if we finally see Crosby take over a game
  13. I don't know if its just me; but in my eyesthe pressure is fully on the coaching staff. We know how Latvia is going to play, they're going to trap it. To me its up to coaching staff now to come up with a gameplan or a system that can beat the latvians, we have the best players in world to work with, they should be able to find some way we can get some quality chances and not just shoot from the outside. If they can't figure that out thats a big fail for our coaches.
  14. ya so pretty much the same as the book, hmm cool not sure why I didn't remembered that, thanks!
  15. I know I am excited how the show handles each of those. I'd also add in there Cersei and Jamie's evolving relationship, and maybe this is just me but I hope they include the midget jousting in the show lolol. Was Ser Dontos ever in the show? I don't really remember that part; but how they do the whole Sansa plotline should be interesting
  16. Ya that makes sense, just looked like he was in a grass feild and just reminded me of that scene at first. But if they are doing they are doing that part, does that mean they are dipping a lil bit into the 4th and 5th books this season? Because Dragon certainly wasn't that big in the third book. I had just thought there was enough content remaining in the third book for a whole season.
  17. Wow looks good, is it just me or at 1:20 when they show drogon, does that not look similar to the scene between Dany and Drogon at the end of the 5th book? I thought this season was just covering to the end of the 3rd..
  18. you don't like the bend don't break philosophy? I personally don't mind taking that approach if you have a high powered offense. But ya I agree they need to find some playmaking LBs, and are they letting BJ Raji walk? If they find a good replacement for him that would def help
  19. Haha yeah they can't seem to buy win against San Fran. Its funny cuz I'd like their chances against any other team in a playoff game except San Fran..even against Seattle I think would be a good game, Kap is their kryptonite I guess. Oh man don't even get me started on fantasy last season. I'm in two leagues and picked them differently on purpose, and think I ended up with every player that suffered a significant injury.Injuries are kind of that annoying unknown factor, unless we talking about Amedola, then yeah its a given thats he's injured lol
  20. Agreed a healthy GB is a scary team, atleast offensively anyways. I know they're defense is so-so but having them in the mix with NFC West keeps things interesting. Yeah defenses win championship, but give Rodgers a bit better protection and their good offense will give seattle a good run I bet
  21. I think you are really undervalueing Brees and Rodgers. They do go for longer shots than Brady or Manning but I think that has a lot to do with who is around them. Brady has no deep threats and I would suspect their playbook is designed around stretching the feild width-wise to open up inside running lanes and the occasional deep ball. Manning just has a bad arm, and their playbook just based off of a lot of screens, short passes and yards after the catch. Where Rodgers and Brees do have deep threats they can use, which is why it appears they're playbook is more designed to stretch the feild length-wise to help open up the short plays. Just different philosphies really, can't really say which waay better as they all seem to do quite well. That being said if you're down by double digits and 5 minutes remaining I think you are in pretty good hands with any of those qbs. I don't think anyone more concerned if they are playing Brady or Manning than if they were playing Rodgers. Heck I'd go one step farther and say Rodgers is the better QB. He still needs to accomplish a lot still before I can make any arguement , but I'd say by the time his career is over, providing he continues playing how he has, he will be considered more of a complete qb than those 2
  22. The stray dog thing is sort of disgusting, but its not a problem that just exists Russia. My friend grew up on a farm north of Calgary, and he said they would always random stray dogs showing up, harrassing their dogs and eating their food. Left them little choice but to kill them. Sounds bad but is just the reality of things; it sort bugs me how some people(not you necessarily) are on their high horse judging the Russians for this, when the same thing is happening around their home as well but just on smaller scale. Sounds like Canada is starting out good, keep the updates coming for us stuck at work
  23. Ya the AFC isn't that good at the moment compared to the NFC, last year it wasn't even close. It will balance out again in time, but ya it was pretty evident by just looking at who made the playoffs. San Diego got the final wild card spot, and on the NFC side you had Arizona just miss it. Coming from a San Diego fan, Arizona would've crushed us. Its hard to say how it will be next year since we haven't had free agency yet or the draft but yeah NFC will probably be better still, especially the NFC West. That division is just so good, even St Louis, the worst team in that division, is a pretty good team especially with the 2nd and 13th pick in this years draft. Its def good to see because it wasn't that long ago that division was the joke of the NFL.
  24. This is the best news I have heard all week!! Whistler is hurting for snow as is every mountain around here, its about time!
  25. I am not so sure on the dynasty part, honestly first time I heard someone say I laughed in their face. After thinking about its not so far fetched but I would certainly wait for that 2nd title before mentioning that word. Here is my reasoning in my thinking anyways, you are right this year isn't so important interms of who they might be losing, next year and the year after will be the tough years. The problem I see is not that maybe a player won't take a discount there, but right now its just that so many of players are so far off what they should be making. For instance, Earl Thomas, who in my opinion is the best safety in the league and is hugely undervalued by most fans. Without him I think that secondary falls to average to good, but he's making what 1-2 million right now? He will be the highest paid safety at I'd guess around the 12 per year range, Sherman will be around the same, that will definately impact their depth, which was a major strength. Also it may cause some causilties like losing Lynch, which sounds like real possibility he's either cut this year or next. The question becomes whether they can find cheap replacements, they certainly did before. But I also recall a few years back being a db over 6' was considered a weakness. I remember hearing about guys and people saying oh he's 6'2" he's too tall to make it as a cb in the NFL. Seattle was the adnomolly and selected them. Well thats no longer the case, now that they won the SB, a lot of teams are going to be trying to copy their blueprint. So they may have some trouble finding those role players now that other GMs are essentially going to try to copy and steal their moves. I don't doubt Seattle is desirable place to play, but for some reason I trust NFL players less than say the NHL, I think in general they realize how short their careers are and will cash out if given the chance. I basically equate them to the 2010 blackhawks, they are certainly well on their way but I am going remain on the skeptical right now for this whole dynasty talk
