I think out of all of this, there's a better chance of Schenn coming back to Canucks in the off-season. I was a bit worried if leafs go deep, Schenn might incline to resign with them for another run. It's not over yet. Panthers need to close this out in 4 games. Don't pull a no show in next game because they have a 3-0 lead.

As much as it would be comical to see leafs get swept I think they'll take game 3. I hope panthers can make it close though. There's news report about Toronto fans filling up panthers arena despite the ticket restrictions. Leafs fans and media are taking every chance to disregard Florida's relevance. I hope this motivates the panthers even more.

I watched Steve Dangle's podcast yesterday. I understand as a leafs fan you'd always try to explain the losses and find reasons for optimism. But man I find myself needing to skip the part when they analyze the leafs games. They almost wanted to say panthers is up 2-0 due to luck because they've been fortunate to capitalize on every leafs turnovers. And the silly 'should-a-won' meter nonsense. Well if the 'should-a-won' meter is actually relevant, TB's meter is up there too in the first round. They're in disbelief that their team lost both games in Florida because they still look down on the panthers despite them taking out Boston. This just makes me want to cheer for panthers even more. I really enjoy listening to Steve's podcast, but only when they talk about non leafs stuff lol.

Hm looks like panthers sleeping so far. Just tuned in and it's a very fast game. Leafs can't keep this pace for 60 minutes. Playing too fast will result into mistakes. If Panthers keep this 2-1 I can see them turning the momentum.

Rod Brind'mour is like giving the finger to all the doubters. It is just one game but it shows canes can play against any type of team.

I can't wait to see what all those analysts who said leafs will take the series in 5-6 games say now after game 1. There was no excuse for leafs to complain about this game. They had home ice and 5-1 PP in their favour especially the double minor that the refs somehow remember seeing long after the whistle. Florida playing it clean as well.

I feel like Dallas put themselves in competitive mode year after year. I only remember they had one high pick in Heiskanen 3AO in recent memory and they jumped to that spot too. They somehow keep finding guys like Robertson, Hintz outside of the first round. I hope canucks can start to find elite talent outside of the first round with the current regime...first thing is maybe stop trading second rounders.
