Stranger things have happened. We're making fun of the leafs, but the games have been close. That was evident last game and this game if it's as close as the scoreboard indicates. I wouldn't take anything lightly.

This year's is regarded as a very deep draft, but it also means there will probably be a high number of picks that do not pan out. We really can't afford that. Regardless of defenseman or forward, I really really hope we hit with this pick, develop well and have impactful roster player.

I prefer Reinbacher over ASP based on our teams current roster . We already have Hughes as the PP QB. Sadly I have a feeling neither of them will be there when it's our turn to pick, which brings back the question about whether it makes sense to win all those games late in the season...

Devil fans should still be happy with the results this season making it to the second round. The way they lost to Canes says more about the Rangers in my opinion...

I don't know the two players' relationship outside of hockey, but I think fans would appreciate any sort of push back. I watched a clip of McDavid trying to stand up for Draisaitl after Pietrangelo gave him a dirty slash in yesterday's game. Sure he was 'punching' with his gloves on because he didn't want to injure his hand, but at least he did something when he could have just skate around. I guess if fans accept that their top players don't react to anything physical then it's okay?

I hated the Hronek trade from the moment it happened - nothing against the player but it is the timing and a reflection of how current mgmt values draft picks just like the last regime. The first round pick dropping a few spots didn't make it that much better, and I'm sure PA couldn't have predicted that. He was ready to risk the pick becoming a lottery pick in 2024 at worst case. It wasn't the right time to make the trade at TDL and I still stand by that. Giving up our second round pick in a deep draft just kills it for me.

I'm getting really tired of seeing 500 leafs articles and videos on the sports sites. I would rather hear about oils leading 4-0 vs vegas. Panthers need to show up next game and close this series out. No more messing around.

Hmm just tuned in. Is this game 2-0 because leafs are playing their best of game of the series or panthers not showing up? This is a compliment to the Leafs - panthers need to close this out. Leafs do have the ability to make it a series if Panthers let up too much.

With this potentially career ending surgery, I'm happy that he was able to win a cup. Aves might look to do a bit of retool as they seem to be trending down.

Even if NJ gets out this round, their fans should be very happy with what they've accomplished this season. A young core with still so many young prospects. Just need to find themselves a legit goaltender, quite a few choices out there from trade.

This is a total nightmare because I can see so see that scenario happening...Arrrrrrrgh. I really am a lot more angrier than I thought I would be right now. And I have to hear another month of how Bedard can help turn the Chicago franchise around before the actual draft.

I accepted we won't get Bedard, but I really really f-ing hate this result. Any team but Chicago. That team deserves to suck for a decade after the whole Kyle Beach situation, which has gone under the rug and no one is talking about it anymore. Now with talks about Quennville coming back to coaching already.
