  1. As a CF myself, I do take control, but I know when my other fielders are in a better position to catch it, I let them and trust them. Pillar doesn't seem to see it like this, and feels he needs to take control way too much, almost as if he doesn't trust his fielders, that's not good on his part.
  2. Yeah your probably right about Goins, but Kawi should be playing over Pennington.
  3. Why is Pennington in the game? He can't even hit against Lefties anyways, Goins or Kawasaki still give you a better chance at bat. Always will dislike Gibbons no matter what.
  4. In the 4th inning it was 4-0, in the past I would of guessed its probably around the 8th or 9th inning, but now your not sure if its the 1st or 2nd still even, this team is pretty stacked and exciting to watch, enjoy it while its here, haven't seen this since 93.
  5. I never liked Gose when he played for us, I felt he needed to mature more, felt like he thought too highly of himself. And I hated that chain he would wear, but after watching him the last couple days, clearly he just doesn't care to become better.
  6. Actually lots of people were saying EE or Bautista, for pitching at the deadline. Things worked out for the best instead.
  7. I still think Revere should be the lead off over Tulo. Tulo isn't a lead off batter that's not his approach, he was never a lead off player why put him in a position he never was before and obviously it's playing with him. Revere on the other hand knows how to make a pitcher work, and the guy has speed. Just move everyone back 1 spot and take the pressure of Tulo, so he can go up there swinging at his pitches. The only other problem is Pennington this guy blows, get him out of there, someone from the Canadians could be a better option at this point.
  8. Read this a couple days ago, but it sounds like Austin is in a way is hinting he wants to do another match, the 2 names out there are John Cena and Sting. Also note: Austin also did a promo on his podcast with Heyman about a match against Brock, but later declined and said it was a mistake to make false hopes for a match a Wrestlemania. Personally I would like to see Austin vs The Rock, if he does have 1 more match.
  9. Ever since Miz took over for Hogan, his choices have ruined the last 2 weeks imo.
  10. Makes sense, but now that he maybe hurt, I don't know. In other news, no Papelbon.
  11. Gibbons 2004-2008 record, 305W, 305L, Win% .500 Gibbons 2013- Present record, 210W, 221L, Win% .487 And people wonder why so many hate on Gibbons, with a better team now then when he used to manage, he still can't be above .500. The guys a joke, and same with AA for evening hiring this joke of a Manager back. This franchise will be much better off when they get ride of AA and get a real General Manger who actually has baseball knowledge, who knows the game from the first day he steps into office. And get a new manager who actually knows what he is doing on the feild, and knows his players better Gibbons is a joke record shows itself.
  12. Strongly agree, stupid me for not putting his name as well, and Beeston.
  13. Turns out the Phillies are willing to trade Papelbon and the Blue Jays and Cubs are the teams interested. I think this is what the Jays need.
  14. I haven't like AA since the day he joined the Blue Jays, it was stupid to bring in a guy who had no baseball experience or background in the first place, just asking to fail. It just doesn't make sense to have a pitcher pitch tomorrow, who has never pitched an MLB inning in his life. I could see if they were say 10-15 games out of first place, or were in first place by a lot, but when it's this close and your on a 7 game winning streak just goes to show how clueless this management organization is.
  15. If Sanchez is not injured or dealing with soreness for why he is not pitching tomorrow, just goes to show Gibbons needs to be gone, he is the one holding this team back.
  16. That one is still a gamble, especially since Travis doesn't even have 1 MLB game yet under his belt. There is Goins, Tolleson, and even Izturis who I thought played the postion very well last year until he got injured.
  17. Now that Drabek is gone, he was the last piece of the trade that involved the Halladay trade. There was also Travis d’Arnaud, and Michael Taylor, but Michael was traded right away for Brett Wallace, then Wallace was traded for Anthony Gose. This was AA's first big trade move as the GM back in 2009, these were 3 prospects he wanted and where are they now? Drabek now with the White Sox, just never was able to achieve that dominance that he was able to when he was younger, also having 2 Tommy John surgeries changed him. Travis d'Arnaud now with the Mets was traded back in 2012, in a deal that brought R.A. Dickey to Toronto. Brett Wallace now with the Padres, who was drated by the Blue Jays in 2005, but not signed. Was traded to Astros in 2010 for Anthony Gose, and Anthony is now with the Tigers. Basically was the trade worth it... There was some potential in 2 of the 3 original players, but with injuries it hurt the Jays in the end, they lost the trade imo in the end.
  18. Yeah I think I've noticed that a few times too, it sure is getting sloppy.
