  1. People are starting to realize the bigger picture at stake.
  2. Bringing his wife to see Vancouver, and get her opinion on this city.
  3. Iginla and Linden also like each other btw! When Linden was pretty much forced out of retirement, his last game against Calgary, Iginla pulled his team back onto the ice to congratulate Linden on his career. Linden also told Iginla that night that he believed he was the best player in the game at that time, so much class between them both. Iginla is a great player, who plays with heart and wants to win. I don't think he wants to be part of this team, just because their chances at winning aren't that high and Iginla wants to win. But if he did I would welcome him with all open arms, could really help this team!
  4. NO I want this team to compete and make the playoffs, give this young group a chance at playoffs and understand what it's all about, will just make them better players in the future. http://instagram.com/p/r0CNLwtOGa
  5. The only way Kesler could be involved for getting the #1 pick, is a 3 way trade, no way Kesler is going to Florida.
  6. It's about god damn time, 3 years to late.
  7. Just wanted to post an old post from someone, which I found interesting. This is obviously back in 2009, but I liked the EE comment he obviously nailed it on that one. Kind of curious about this Randy Ruiz player, what happened to him? It's like he just vanished.
  8. I don't really have a problem with moving up in the draft, but not at a big price. Absolutely no Horvat involved in getting Reinhart, but throw in Schroeder, 6th pick, 2nd round pick say in 2016. It's next years draft that's the big one, 2015 that will be a better draft one, and that's the one I'd be all in on.
  9. I have to say watching the press conference today, I am very happy with this guy, he knows his hockey and has been around. I really like the style he wants the Canucks to play, get bigger, more grit and play 4 lines of hockey, plus a fast paced up tempo game. He reminds me of Brian Burke 2.0, and if he stands up to his words this will bring back exciting hockey in this city.
  10. I swear ever since Kassian has come here it's been the same talk over and over again, it's like deja vu for how long? He's looking better out there, he's been consistent the last few games... He keeps showing potential, if he only could keep it up all the time. CDC in 5 years, Kassian is using his body more I like it he's been looking much better out there the last few games, oh looks like Kassian has his legs out there tonight, what happened to Kassian from last game, is he even playing tonight?
  11. Mike Gillis needs to start talking to the Isles, if they are willing to give up this much for trades.
  12. As much as I love this guy, and his work ethic is unbelievable, I am now for the first time ever considering it may be a good time to look at possibly moving Burrows. The reason I'm saying this now, is because he is now 32, will be turning 33 next year, but his value is the highest it will ever be right now. The success he has had with the Sedins has made him who he is now, don't forget this guy was a non drafted player, who was never known for his offensive talent, he was a hard working grinder type of player. The Sedins were able to make Burrows into a differen't type of player, if Burrows never played with the Sedins trust me he would of never registered as many points as he has. I just don't see this guy holding much value for say a top 6 point producer in the near future, as hard as it is to imagine with no Burrows on this team, it would be like Linden all over again. We remember how that worked out, Bertuzzi for Linden, now who knows what we could get for Burrows, but this season is the best time to find that out.
  13. Do you really think Makaveli, will be back in 2014?

  14. I like Tanev, I believe he has some great potential in becoming a great NHL defensemen. Although he has never played more than 38 games in a NHL season, he hasn't even played a full season yet. Tanev made $900,000 the last 3 years, there is no way he should be asking for more than $1.3M for say a 3 year contract, until he really proves himself, by playing atleast 1 full season first.
  15. wow very surprised to see Burrows come out and say that, but I'm glad he is being honest, just goes to show AV had no clue on how to get the team motivated.
  16. Guess you didn't notice Linden was quoted saying that in my sig, so your post makes no sense at all, but nice try!
