    Who would do a Boeser for Dumba hockey trade?  Don't get me wrong, Boes is one of my favourite players, but this team needs an upgrade on D, and Dumba is still relatively young at 25.

      You misread the answer of that exec.  He would consider that trade - i.e. it was fair in his mind but thinks the Canucks wouldn't do it.

      That’s not what I heard.  I heard he said the Canucks would say no because Bess has way more value.  He, and other current NHL execs (off the record) made comments on a lot of proposals, most of which were just trolling fans in certain markets because they were stupidly unfair.  Bess for Dumba was at the top of that stupidly unfair list, was what I remember hearing.

      That's not the wording.  That executive would consider the trade.  In other words he considers it fair.  He thinks though that the Canucks wouldn't do that trade.
