  1. It sounds nice but it's overkill especially considering the heart of the offense runs through McCoy, they simply don't need Jackson. But as far as contracts go it's ridiculous he is not an elite WR. He runs poor routes and gives up on numerous plays as well as runs soft routes across the middle because he is afraid of getting hit. He is a 1 dimensional player and he excels in that one dimension but certainly does not deserve more money. Keep in mind his annual average contract has him as the 8th highest paid WR in the NFL and he wants more. He is already overpaid.
  2. Luls DeSean Jackson wants a raise again. I hope they cut him.
  3. Eric Staal is on pace for 19 goals and 68 points. (in 81 games) Jeff Skinner is on pace for 44 goals and 73 points. (in 71 games) Oh and Jordan Staal is just laughable he is on pace for 38 points in 82 games. Skinner is having a legit season. Better than any of the Staal's.

  5. I doubt they would change the format. They always have articles about major changes but they rarely hold weight. Making divisions pointless will just spark debate on why they even have them and then you will have seasons where teams benefit from weaker divisions and why teams in stronger divisions get punished for winning 1 less game or so. They have similar debates in the past when entire divisions finished over .500 but teams were left out for poor division team winners who didn't even have better records.
  6. Chiefs: 27 Colts: 17 Bengals: 28 Chargers: 13 Eagles: 30 Saints: 21 49ers: 31 Packers: 17
  7. Drew Brees has some really lopsided splits Home: 27 TDs to 3 INTs with a 126.3 rating Away: 12 TDs to 9 INTs with a 84.8 rating Turf: 35 TDs to 8 INTs with a 109.2 rating Grass: 4 TDs to 4 INTs with a 85.8 rating It's also supposed to be 22 degrees Fahrenheit tonight in Philly (only 20 right now) with a 20% chance of snow (probably won't snow at all though as the precipitation will likely hit tomorrow) Stuff like this doesn't always matter as it could slow down Philly as well but on paper the home field advantage truly looks like it's trying its best to benefit the Eagles.

  9. It's why we signed Kesler to an offer sheet we only sign the best
  10. The Flyers none NHL prospects are fairly weak. None of the wingers are legit prospect and Nick Cousins another center is probably the next best prospect at center. After him on defense Gotisbehere, Hagg, and Morin are the only true NHL caliber prospects but they are all project players. Their best young assets are all already in the NHL (Giroux, Voracek, Simmonds, B. Schenn, L. Schenn, Gustufsson, Couturier) Though if it's worth noting Philly is prone to having surprises Read was unexpected. And now Raffl has 8 points in his last 11 games. But if you are going by scouting reports Laughton is really the only big looking prospect.
  11. Lecavalier is the #2 center but he is coming back from injury so they are easing him back in. They probably don't want to rush him into his role and they don't want to pull Couturier off the 3rd line center given how he has played. But on normal circumstances Lecavalier would take center while Schenn took wing. As far as Laughton goes he was projected a 3rd line center (though his offense is really picking up in juniors.) If Lecavalier continues to play well and Couturier does his thing Laughton may become trade bait.
  12. The actually kind of reverted back to classic Flyers hockey. They have been one of the most dangerous offenses in December but as soon as the offense picked up Steve Mason went from a goalie with a GAA almost under 2 and save percentage over .930 to a goalie with a GAA of 2.93 and a save percentage of .893 in December.
  13. Nah I am confident in this statement i hear it loud and clear every year. I do live in Philly so it's possibly Cowboys fans here are just more forward but it's also pretty prominent on ESPN also. Cowboys always get a few votes at minimum. Hell the Cowboys blunders have been a shared mockery between all the other NFC East teams just because of how much hype the team gets despite having 1 playoff win in the last 16 years.
  14. I am not entirely sure what you are saying but you said the Flyers suck and I was implying you are underrating them. Plus if you go by the stats they imply it isn't a random hot streak as the numbers are more realistic than the beginning numbers. For example the first month of the season (11 games for the Flyers) the first line in a combined 33 games between them had 1 goal and 9 assists for 10 points. However if you compare the players current stats over the last 23 games they average out to what the players produced in the rest of their careers. As far as standings go during that stretch the Flyers held the last seed as they barely averaged over 1 goal a game but in all of a month and a half have risen from the 30th seed to holding a playoff spot. It would be foolish to think you are playing the struggling team that started the season.
  15. Flyers only have 6 regulation losses in the last 23 games. We will only win by 2 goals or so instead of 8-2 again.
  16. No chance, that's what the Casucks got
  17. Every year the Cowboys fans rave about how they are the superbowl favorites and every year they miss the playoffs or lose in the first round.
  18. OMG The Cowboys suck most overrated team in sports
  19. any live feeds for Dallas vs Philly?
  20. J. Thomas is hard to say. Peyton definitely inflates receiving numbers but he is only 25 and before this season he had only played his rookie year with Tebow and then missed Peyton's first season in Denver. He could easily be a legit talent top TE talent it isn't like Tamme came even close to his abilities last year. Plus players like Gronkowski and Graham were pretty much random players who then broke out with the help of a star QB. Personally I have thought career wise Peyton has had a better supporting cast of receivers (overall) than players like Brees and Brady.
  21. I think you are looking at it a little to vague. People do kill people but guns make humans far more efficient killing machines. The better equipped a human is to kill the more bodies they can pile up. Though I assume you could just go in a cycle and say people still kill people because a man did create the gun to begin with.
  22. That is literally the Cowboys team slogan. "There is always next year." But why would Romo and Dez hold any relevance? The Cowboys downfall is the defense. One of the worst defenses in the entire NFL in points allowed and literally the worst defense in the league with yards given up. Doesn't matter how amazing any offensive combo is you won't ever win with a last ranked defense. Even Peyton Manning could not win a Super Bowl until 2007 when the Colts defense was ranked #1 in points allowed and #3 in yards allowed.
