I’d rather hang on to Myers for the year…

If I'm the Canucks one of my first calls tommorrow is to Michael McLeod's camp.
Big fast right hand C that PKs, & young enough to fit with this core moving forward. It's checks alot of boxes.
Also Christian Fischer in Arizona is another guy too that has those attributes & Tocchet knows him.
Yep Mcleod, Comtois, Geekie, Asplund etc., are all guys we should show strong interest in.

Not necessarily. Could sign him for cheaper as a ufa than we would have with his QO.

I’d still prefer Graves but I wouldn’t hate Soucy and Cole.

Didn't someone post that Graves won't play in Canada?
I saw that too but no actual source to back that up so I won’t necessarily believe that until I see something more concrete.

Not really sure what we could offer tbh.
1st is automatic.
Likely could use a cheaper scoring winger so beauviller would be in the deal.
Maybe beauviller + raty + 2024 1st
But we would have to be sure that we were contending.
Beauvillier, one of Höglander/Podkolzin, next years 1st should do it. Maybe a mid level prospect as well if needed.

Pesce is my dream for this offseason. Get him and one of Graves or Soucy and we’re cookin’.

We should be looking at both Foote and Asplund honestly.

Using Montreal’s 2nd is a very sneaky level of trolling

Why wouldn’t Pittsburgh match that when they have oodles of cap space?

I know we desperately need a capable 3C and he's a Dan Milstein client, but can't continue to make the same mistakes. Barbashev played on the top line as a winger on a stacked Vegas team. If we're paying him top 6 money I'm certain we'll regret.
He’s been a good player his entire career. I wouldn’t give him 7 years or anything like that but he’d be a welcome addition regardless where he plays.

Pretty sure Joe is referring to Elias Lindholm and not Mikael Backlund, still not worth doing.
Ahh I’d rather go for Lindholm but yeah still, both guys are not worth that high of a pick.

calgary's swedish center that wants to get out of calgary. in a heart beat.
He’s 34 years old Joe. Exact opposite type of player we should be targeting, let alone using an 11th overall pick to acquire.

Agree to disagree. I respect your opinions on these boards 73 but not sure we will ever agree on this. One thing for sure, the future will provide the answer.
I mean 100 points aside you can’t be a Norris finalist while being a liability in your own end. Even the most casual hockey fan would understand that.

He has a 16 team no trade and he didn't put Chicago on the list?
The Bedard factor unfortunately.

Does this move signal that Pesce is going to get traded?
Allvin needs to be in on Pesce regardless though.

Three trades already today keep ‘em coming.

Shockingly low price for a guy like Durzi. Really nice bit of business from Arizona.

$4 million for a non-defensive centre. No.That's a Benning move.
I thought about it too but yeah he’s the exact opposite of what we need. I wonder what a Brayden Schenn-type player would cost.

He’d be a good veteran presence to have no doubt, but myself and I think everyone else would prefer someone younger.

Reinbacher, Simashev, Leonard, Moore, Wood is my personal top 5. We come away with either of those guys I’m happy.

Not sure how taking away non hockey related stuff from a hockey game is a bad thing…
So you don’t have any issues with grandpas being afraid of rainbows being the reason all other jersey nights are no longer happening?

If we move Höglander in a package for Pesce and sign Soucy, Cole, Comtois, Mcleod…
Kuzmenko - Pettersson - Boeser
Beauvillier - Miller - Mikheyev
Comtois - Mcleod - Podkolzin
Joshua - Åman - Studnicka?
Hughes - Pesce
Soucy - Hronek
Cole - Juulsen
Demko
Martin
Bigger, heavier, much better defensively.
