  1. That would be more accurate if it were Seahawks fans. At least that's how it is in Vancouver.
  2. For the record, I've never been high on Virtanen. I'm not just abandoning ship because he's struggled this year. Going back to the season we drafted him I was hoping that we would go another route. I thought he had a safe floor but didn't have the hockey sense to be a potential premier player. I was more interested in Nick Ritchie to be honest. I've always seen Jake as more of a guy in a Raffi Torres mold. But now that he seems so hesitant to throw hits, something will need to change for him to get to reach that level. I can be patient all I want, but in the end of the day it won't change the fact that I've never really thought there was a whole lot to look forward to regarding Jake. But again, I really hope I'm wrong.
  3. The whole "power forwards breakout later" idea isn't really true. Most good power forwards are in the league producing pretty well in their early 20's (Perry, Nash, Lucic, Kreider, Benn, Iginla, Wheeler). It's entirely possible that Jake breaks out at that age, but Bertuzzi was more of an exception, not the rule. And even still, he had a 39 point season under his belt after his 20 year old season.
  4. I've never wanted a player to prove me wrong so badly before. Please prove me wrong Jake.
  5. My god Washington is just carving up State.
  6. Skyrim remastered on sale for $40. Probably what it should have been priced at right from the get go, $80 for a 5 year old game is ridiculous in any sense. But at $40? Bought it without hesitation.
  7. http://blackandbluereview.com/thomas-davis-luke-kuechly-instagram-post/ Promising sign for Kuechly. He did enter concussion protocol today, but this picture makes it seem that it isn't as serious as it looked. I don't like the Panthers, but Kuechly is probably my favourite defensive player in the league. Just seems like a good down to earth dude who always gives it 110% and is always ready to make the play. Hopefully he's back sooner than later.
  8. Passing Browning: 156/256 (64.8%), 2532 yds, 35 TD 5 INT, 189.7 QBr Jackson: 184/314 (58.6%), 2898 yds, 27 TD 6 INT, 160.7 QBr Rushing Browning: 41 yds (0.8YpC), 4 TD Jackson: 1134 yds (7.3YpC), 19 TD I don't think anyone would question that Browning's passing stats are better anymore, but when you factor in the ground game as well it's still pretty lopsided IMO. Jackson has accounted for 1400 more yards and 7 more TDs on the season. I think the stinker here will definitely cause more of a discussion on who should win, but Jackson was so far ahead before this that he could still have a game like that and be ahead of the pack.
  9. Green Bay picks up Michael. Have to imagine he get's some serious reps in practice this week in the hope that he can get more than a few touches this Sunday. Starks is awful, and although Michael not be much better he should end up getting the majority of the snaps going forward.
  10. Right? Guy has looked lost all season. Has all the tools but no toolbox. He needs some PEDs for his noggin.
  11. Arizona is the only team in the NFL that has a top 10 offence (8th) and a top 10 defence (2nd). Goes to show how useful that is in determining a teams success lol.
  12. What are some good places to watch games downtown? Want to watch the morning games before getting to the Nucks game at 1.
  13. Going to my first 'Nucks game since 2010 today!

  14. How about Melvin Gordon though... Crazy how he can look so good this year after looking so bad last year. He might still have some trouble breaking through the line, but once he gets through the guy is unreal. He's doing an amazing job catching out of the backfield as well. Hard to imagine they bring back Woodhead next year now.
  15. Darnold has been really good. Amzing stuff for a freshman. Very safe with the ball yet can still make big plays. He could definitely be in the running for the Heisman next year as well. Man I love watching some of the QBs in the NCAA. Something about seeing a guy being able to completely manhandle the other team week in and week out. Last game put his passer rating over 200 on the season, and brought his TD:INT ratio to 34:3. Unreal. Also, lol at Marshawn Lynch almost running over the Cal band.
  16. Browning is definitely a better passer although Jackson is no slouch there either. But when you factor in how well Lamar runs, I think he is in a league of his own in regards to NCAA QBs right now. Expect both to be front runners again next year as well.
  17. RIP Election Thread.

OH DARN!  And Election Day is just a few days away!

  18. Lamar Jackson is just too good. Absolutely unreal. Heisman is officially his to lose.
  19. Also, can't believe how boring Martin Garrix's new EP "Seven" was. Just so much generic pro house. I haven't been a fan of a lot of his stuff recently, but he usually makes up for it by releasing something gold every once and a while. Really disappointing IMO.
  20. Negatives about having a GF whose birthday is close to Christmas: She ropes you into buying Contact tickets. Although, I am excited to see Audien again. Was one of my favourite sets at Paradiso this year.
  21. That's the only thing I can think of, but as a team that obviously has Super Bowl aspirations this year, it doesn't really make a lot of sense in my opinion. 3rd round picks are valuable, and I guess the Pat's would rather have the pick than play his contract out, but that would still be a hard trade to swallow if I were a Pats fan.
  22. Reportedly a 3rd round pick coming back to the Pats. From an outsider this looks like an absolutely boneheaded move. Dare I say the Pats just got fleeced in a trade... by the Browns!!??
  23. Well I used to be a competitive swimmer, so pretty much all through my early to late teens I was used to being really cut and having super defined abs (still not Michael Phelps level, but closer), which is what I'm trying to go for again, but that probably isn't going to be possible unless I get back into the pool for 10+ hours a week.
  24. If I were to put a number to it, I'd say I'm 50% going for aesthetics, 50% going for results. Few months ago I would definitely have said I was more interested in aesthetics, but I'm overly competitive and now I want to make sure my buddies don't pass my maxes lol. Thanks for the info though.
  25. I don't think ideal meant like, required, but more as in what an ideal figure would be. I know the average and what is still considered healthy is around 20%. Like I said, theres definitely a real possibility the test is inaccurate, or I've being measuring improperly or whatever. I measured at 9.8%, but you're probably right, I am probably closer to 12%. Because I'm not close to Michael Phelps level. Abs are there but I'm not ripped. Anyways, I'm getting in better shape and that's really all that matters in the end of the day.
