Hey guys I am getting caught up in school and life and just havent found enough time to participate in this game. Please give my spot to a GM that wants this spot and can contribute to the league.

I apologize for dropping out so sudden.

Good luck to the league and I wish it the best of luck

For the people questioning the PHIWPG trade:

1) JVR and Grabovski were the two players out of my top-6 group of forwards that were not producing. The four other forwards have been playing well, yet these two fell behind despite great line-mates and top-6 even-strength and power-play minutes.

2) JVR's contract jumps from 1.65M to 4.25M. I can't pay a player 4.25M for one point every three games if I'm trying to win now. Sure, he's going to be a top forward in the future, but taking into account the age of Jagr, Pronger and Timonen and the fact that I have Giroux on a very cheap contract, my window is too small to wait for JVR to develop.

3) Grabovski is a pending UFA that would have probably received a bump from his 2.9M cap hit to about 3.5M. Little is producing just as much as Grabovski and is signed at 2.3M for the remainder of this year and next. In my opinion, when it comes to production and player quality this was a lateral exchange, but Little is cheaper, younger and has more potential.

4) Antropov is PPG player right now. The biggest reason for the deal is that JVR wasn't producing as a first line left-wing, and I'm hoping Antropov can keep putting up the numbers he was in Winnipeg (I would think it shouldn't be too hard playing with Giroux and Jagr who are also PPG players).

TL;DR... makes me better this year, helps my cap next year.

I didn't really want to spend the time to justify my actions but I thought it might as well enlighten the sceptics.
